Seems to be a significant tactical move in Sheffield Hallam for Con voters to support and save Clegg. Basis appears to be try and engineer the best chance of a continuation of the coalition.
Some issues with sampling leading to a larger than usual error margin, 5.3 or 4.7% dependent on method / assumptions but in the poll with named candidates Clegg must have hopes raised.
I agree with your first para. Is there a link missing from the 2nd, seems to relate to a poll but i can't work out whichSome issues with sampling leading to a larger than usual error margin, 5.3 or 4.7% dependent on method / assumptions but in the poll with named candidates Clegg must have hopes raised.

The Conservative Party icon in the bottom left of his poster kinda give him away though.......
But no Vote Conservative, I wonder how many people speeding by in their car would see anything other than the flag, not the logo?Scuffers said:
when was the last time we opened a new reservoir in this country? just how much has the population grown yet no investment in the infrastructure to match it?
Last year?http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-lincolnshire-...
Not saying there isn't one more recent, just saying that there is investment.
Like there is private investment in
-Mobile telephony (which also helps keep landline comms prices down)
-Land based comms infrastructure, and to say that hasn't improved since privatisation is insane
-Energy - all sorts of plants, including of course the renewables you hate
-Rail - If rail is so bad why have passenger numbers soared since privatisation?
etc

How have the prices of rail's competitors (car, bus/coach and planes) changed since the railways were privatised? I would expect the cost of motoring has gone up with fuel duty.
Motoring has gone down:The real cost of motoring has fallen significantly over 20 years.

With Easyjet et al around, I don't think I even need to find a source saying that the cost of flights internal to UK (the competition to rail) has dropped massively
I am no expert on coach travel, but I think intercity that has dropped too if the prices advertised on the back of those intercity coaches is any guide
