I would wager the Mansion tax gets quietly dropped if they come in to power.

Is there 'widespread support' as Andrew Neil accepted?

I'd imagine there is, in that the vast majority of people won't be affected by this and will be perfectly happy for it to be brought in (and they won't see the potential for trickle down over the coming years).

You can see the thought process...

I've held a 2p at arms length - and it's the same size as the moon. I've seen an elephant at the zoo and it was bigger than me (just). So, it must be elephant. smile.

Well the interview took place on the BBC's Daily Politics yesterday. And was repeated AGAIN on the programme today - and Labour STILL hadn't bothered to come up with an answer.

I forgot to mention, did anyone see "Ballot Monkeys" last night? Some crackers on there. My fave was Labour's new floating voters smile.

"Newzoids" starting - so off to watch that.

Why are they refusing? Milliband keeps saying all their policies are fully costed by independent experts if this can be proved to be plucked from the air then you can question the rest.

PLEASE Cameron and rest of the Cabinet hammer them on this - this will add the the SNP pressure and move the debate on. Forcing labour to come clean OR if they don't then the Tory unfounded ideas are just the same as labour so trouce on it and Joe public will have to then think hard as Labours promises appear to be based on bull st.

I have seriously not understood anything Labour has said, the only numbers seem to go up up to 3, for a 3 point plan, when asked what's in the plan they start talking about the weather or hard working people, maybe they should add Schizophrenia to their list of policies. Who said that!
