Agreed. There was an eyewitness account that said the truck was doing between 70 and 100! Reports in the papers are even less reliable.
Aye, not forgetting limiters fitted etc. but let the first panicky reports be taken as gospel. It is always the same, weeks down the line events are clearer but people need top open the box of knee jerks and try to be the first to work it out.

Different people react differently to the same situation. There is a reason the emergency services etc. train for stuff.

Edit. Deleted a sentence that could have been read the wrong way.

Have a family member who drives refuse wagons for gcc don't know if it's related to the incident or not but there has been a complete ban on mobiles in the cabs for passengers as well as drivers introduced

I'm going to go with "almost certainly unrelated"

I like a good conspiracy and this keeps on popping up in the comments section on a few news websites I read.

Name of the driver will never be released according to the news as he was apparently slumped over the wheel after a suspected heart attack but pics as the lorry comes to the end of its rampage shows the driver sat upright..

Happened on the same day as someone suffering from a 'mental illness' drove a car in to a Christmas market in France.

Seatbelt? People see a man passed out, and 'slumped over the wheel' coins a phrase.

True but it still managed to go around a corner, miss some cars and mount the pavement and continue in a straight line while wiping out some pedestrians all while some passengers were on board who might have had some sense to pull the hand brake.

Will look forward to reading the report if it ever gets released in it entirety.

Well that underexposed, out of focus photo has sure sold me.

Clearly another false flag operation, the 'victims' are now living it up on Necker Island with Saddam, Bin Laden, Elvis and the passengers of that missing Malaysian airline.

It's so obvious when you you see it I'm surprised us enlightened took so long to cotton on.

Sorry for asking some questions but do you normally have a non disclosure order on a traffic accident?

I tried searching for this non disclosure order and the only people that seem to mention it are other fruitloops.

So it's been a month now - why no details? If its a medical issue, lets have the details. If its not, lets have some charges.

Same sites were reporting Jimmy Saville and MP Paedo gangs years ago and now look where we are.

Perhaps because they don't want the name of the driver getting into the public domain. I am damned sure he has been through enough, and will do till the day he dies, withouth people pointing the finger in the street.

Why does he need to be named? So you can have a good internet dig about him and his family?

Accidents happen. The investigation will determine if it is one. In an age of the state maybe seeing terrorism as something that gives them more power (not less, go and watch the BBC Power of Nightmares) - why would they withhold a name?

No it's false flag. Bin lorry followed by no mention of terrorism. Definitely a govt sponsored operation.

No but the cover up of 1400 underage girls been groomed and raped for 17 years shows that anything is possible if you put your mind to it, a minor traffic accident in Glasgow seems easy.

You have to laugh at the logic of tin foil hatters. 9/11 wasn't Muslim terrorists, it was a false flag op orchestrated by the US government, but a bin lorry crash? Oh that's definitely Muslim terrorists. The shootings in Paris? That's not Muslim terrorists, that's another false flag op with the aim of creating a police state.
