I'd add that, without massive subsidy, carbon capture is a non-starter. Too expensive and too complex.

Ahead of the conference, Ms Bennett said she believed British politics was shifting in her party's direction.
The election results this year clearly show this trend... oh.

Recall the wisdom in this great quote from another green disciple:

The Greens were ejected from office in the local council elections in Brighton and Hove - and that's where Lucas is MP!

Manmade Climate Change -> Volkswagen Effect.

Hmmmm...

Computer says GIGO

Parallels there may be.
Volkswagons's "Defeat Device" software reminded me of the Climate Research Unit's code which ignored data that didn't skew the results the way they wanted.

Indeed:

GHCN data set apparently has 66% of its data as estimated numbers. Not really a data set anymore is it really?

have to laugh at the sustainable biomass quote,it is anything but. does anyone know of a biomass plant that is burning anything other than gas at the moment ? i was a bit worried about the increase in traffic on the a92 when the new local biomass plant opened (some serious shenanigans behind those who invested in that as well which will no doubt be revealed eventually) with the plant requiring one hgv full of pellets every 5 minutes . have yet to see the escalator that feeds the biomass to the plant turn once.

Where are these millions of tons of pellets coming from, and what are they made of and how are they made?

The other side of the Atlantic, by ships burning dirty oil. Enough said.

they appear to be wood chips rather than pellets. lots stored on a few farms in this area, they have been there for a couple of years now . wonder why ,maybe back up in case we have problems getting gas in the winter. this coming winter will be the first test of how good uk energy supplies are these days. current rapid cooling of north east atlantic suggests this will be the first proper winter since 2010.

not that we needed it, but more confirmation that national governments are involved in not only promoting the cagw scam, but covering up and blocking investigations into the dodgy goings on.

I'm guessing this is why Tony Abbott was pushed out of leadership?

I've a few friends out there who are not impressed with the way he was treated and the general mistrust of government seems to have increased hell of a lot.
