Well, for a start, 97% of what scientists ? That 'fact' alone immediately makes one suspicious that it's all bks.

From 'Gaia Fawkes' site, the quote of the day from Vivienne Westwood -

“I’m just hoping that people will understand that climate change is on our doorstep, it’s here, and that we’ll all be migrants soon. It’s something we might still have the chance to stop…You have to trust yourself. Of course you do. And in the case of the twin towers, my eyes tell me it’s a demolition.”

There are tears of laughter in my eyes...I need to stop and re-group.

Interesting that "global warming" statements disappeared some time ago and now the "man made" element is starting to vanish ...

Aye. Obviously dropped on his head a few too many times as a baby. It would be interesting to know how much the genius gets paid to represent his 'organisation'.

Maybe point out to you 'mate' how much he is being 'bummed' every year for cash. Or put it another way, if we get a very cold winter this year - as many from all sides are predicting - how many elderly people will die needlessly. I'd imagine he reads the Guardian and will simply put his fingers in his ear and say 'la la la.'

I've lost the count how many times he repeated "97% of scientists" regardless of the question...

btw out of curiosity I went to that club facebook page to see if they were brave enough to mention this and just look at their post

Sierra Club
October 9 at 3:48am ·
This week, Senator Ted Cruz held a hearing to attack the clean air and clean water safeguards that protect millions of families all across America. Sierra Club President Aaron Mair was there to talk about how communities of color, which are disproportionately affected by pollution and climate disruption, rely on these safeguards to protect them.
A friend to big polluters, Cruz unsurprisingly tried to cover all their talking points. His game? To attack the climate science that shows how carbon pollution from burning fossil fuels is causing climate disruption in the first place while assailing the Clean Power Plan, which would allow us to act on climate disruption and protect people’s health.
Well, Sierra Club President Aaron Mair has a few things to share with Senator Cruz. Check out his response.

Standard tactic for those who pretend to know stuff, but really don't. Shut the debate down and hope the nasty man will go away. He's exactly right, its religion and "la la la I'm not listening".

Re. this 97% bks. Do we have a go-to or a fact sheet of sorts of information that shows this to be bks. I know its out there, just wondered if there is anywhere were its concisely summarized in one place.
