I must say he's inspired me to follow his example. I'm only going to use my fleet of private jets, yachts and helicopters a few times a week from now on.

Not to mention Dumbo's belief in homeopathy.

Further to tb's post above. Obama grovelling didn't swing it.

President Obama apologized for the role the United States has played in global warming during a speech in India, but that didn’t convince the Asian nation to sign a deal to put a limit to future greenhouse gas emissions

He probably could. The levels of proven "active ingredients" and the effect they have are probably quite similar.

I wonder if any of the litigious types in NYC will be looking at legal redress for losses following a shut-down?

Or are they too busy shovelling to worry?

Excellent news. India is on the mark these days with regard to the warming hoax and associated hype.

Backtracking in the MSM has started on the 2014 fiasco.

AP's Seth Borenstein walks media claims back: 'The story also reported that 2014 was the hottest year on record, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and NASA, but did not include the caveat that other recent years had average temperatures that were almost as high — and they all fall within a margin of error that lessens the certainty that any one of the years was the hottest.'

Pity they still don't report on the corrupted database being used, and the more reliable satellite record which puts 2014 way down the list.

He certainly does, but once you get past the raving lunatic facade, sharp as a pin.

BBC seems to publish at least one story every day:

"Belief in the reality of climate change has risen among the British public, partly because of the 2013 winter floods, according to a report."

She is indeed. Just take a look at her Twitter feed and retweets. She's the latest in a long line of BBC activist eco-nutter journalists pure and simple. Obviously because of the unique way in which the BBC is funded.

It's hardly surprising that when the national and supposedly trustworthy broadcaster saturates it's coverage with bias and stories dishonestly linking the weather to climate change, they succeed in influencing opinion, is it?

Only if people are stupid. I hope that many people are not so stupid. Most people I know realise it is a load of bull**t to tax us more.

It's a sad fact of life, but most people's opinion is the last one they heard!
