So just to recap so far in 2015...
This will be the quickest ever 'House' in the history of the annual climate wang bullst bingo!
You missed out endangered polar bears; Reporting Scotland had a segment on some wildlife park in Perth acquiring another polar bear for the purpose of breeding, which provided the clumsiest segway ever into some utter balls about how shrinking icecaps were endangering the wild bear population, so breeding in captivity might be the species salvation. Oh the humanity.- Ice caps melting
- North America to be inundated
- Mossies on a rampage
- Big Oil funding sceptics
- Cyclones sinking islands
- Hottest/coldest ever

I also failed to mention Panda bears.Presumably their scarcity is due to climate wang, and nothing to do with their very limited window of reproduction, and reduction in suitable envirnoment.
c.f. Polar Bears - thriving and a nuisance in the Arctic regions (allegedly)

What is the point of Pandas?
Eh?Is this a philosophical question?
Or 'why are Polar Bears the totem of Green Peas' and 'Panda Bears' not?
Pandas are the emblem of the wwf, are they not?
The answer (should there be one) - may also be philosphical.

The weak El Nino anticipated for so long by believers as Gaia's gift to end 'The Pause' has finally arrived given that the latest El Nino Advisory says so - but as it's weak and expected to remain weak, the chances of politically motivated misrepresentation to portray any impacts as a return of manmadeup global warming remain slim. Solar max has also come and gone, weakly, albeit with the odd storm and aurora, and the potential for a Dalton type event is still very much in the data and on the cards. On this basis, ramping for The Cause will need to be even worse than previously thought.
i stated last year there would be no major el nino event in the next few years, you only have to follow the patterns of the previous ones to see that.prevailing winds for the last couple of years in the northern hemisphere have consistently pushed warmer surface waters north during winter in the northern hemisphere, coupled with a shift in the gulf stream that warm water heading north at that time of year is only going to get cooler. it has lead to a rise in sea temps around the uk,the north sea for instance is warmer right now that at any time since i was born (1970) but it is leading to an overall loss of heat in the northern hemisphere. maybe abdussamatov was correct after all regarding a slight decline in temperature beginning at the tail end of last year ?Andy Zarse said:

Or - Blame It On The Boogie.
I would say the AGW lot are not so desperate as to blame it on the Boogie. But then I thought about it, and wondered if you've just given them an idea........ There is no bull***t line they won't try after all.Ali G said:

Good quote on BishopHill this morning:
"I believe that climate moralists are impervious to the adverse impact of their policies because their morality is closely interwoven with misunderstanding of economics, distaste for capitalism, lack of interest in history and the overwhelming desire of their psychic elephants to dictate how other people should live.
The climate issue has to be seen as the latest chapter in the two century long battle to use the alleged moral shortcomings of capitalism to justify political power."

Some numbers related to the Policy of using Climate Change as a basis for driving "Green" taxation.

Quite a lot of dosh and, it seems, more to be levied in the future.
The comments suggest that at least some people can see things clearly.

Well worth a read.
This has nothing whatsoever to do with 'saving the planet'.
Planet will continue to exist until an external determinant transpires (most likely being something solar).
Somewhat closer to home, the eternal feud between 'have' and 'have not' homo sapiens dominate day-to-day proceedings of, guess what, homo sapiens.
Given the nature of said mammal, it is entirely likely that the 'have' gang would lunch the 'have not' gang - then gripe about insufficient swill to bury their snouts in.
A not unreasonable presumption may be to assist 'have not' to prevent lunching from 'have' to the mutual benefit of both.
An Dems Da Rools.

Their fraud is exposed when the 'pips start to squeak' and they back off to maintain their revenue - as with fuel duty - if the aim were to save the world, they would rejoice that people were being forced to give up driving, but that's not actually what they want, they just want to tax us more for the privilege.http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3012088/Gr...
