Anyone posting bad taste comments on here should face a ban. Simple as.
bks. Bad taste is subjective. Nothing has bothered me so far.
Didn't say it had, but you know its on the way.
It might just be me, and it's only the merest hint of a suspicion, but it might, just might, be the case that advocating strong sanctions on behalf of the easily offended is not the solution here.

It's the problem.

They published a cartoon of al-Baghdadi (ISIS leader) saying something along the lines of 'Merry Christmas and good health for the future'

Something along those lines anyway. I just caught the back end of it on the radio.

Shocking news! frown

We all remember this from a few years ago in London when there were protests against the Danish cartoons. Sure it's only a tiny proportion of European Muslims think like these guys however this minority still need to be dealt with. We need to stop appeasing and pussyfooting around religious extremists.

So you're all for making excuses for the killers are you? yikes
Not at all, I have my suspicions on the motive behind this but I will keep that to myself as its a highly sensitive subject at the moment. Let's wait for more information on this before we point fingers (although I suspect we know what the outcome will be)
You said "I'm guessing something they have published has upset some people"

"Let's wait for more information on this before we point fingers"

What was '3/11'? Revelations maybe? That would be ironic.

Edit: Madrid train bombings.

Here we go with the stereotyping . . .

Anybody who kills innocent people in a deliberate act are not muslims. They may think they are doing it for their religion, but if you actually read up, killing of innocent people is strictly forbidden in Islam, no exceptions.

We both know why the attack was carried out, but saying so seems to offend a lot of people on here ( I'm referring to the post about far right March in Germany)

You might not think that. But they (ISIS, lone loonies et al) all believe they are Muslim. It doesn't matter what anybody else thinks they are. They are carrying out their deeds in the name of Islam. Trotting this same old line out achieves nothing.

No doubt this is two individuals that are mentally ill and just happen to be members of the religion of peace by pure coincidence. This will be in no way connected to any other murders that some have alleged to have been carried out under that religion what so ever.

Anyone that believes this is linked to any thing that a random act is a racist, bigot and a anti everything Nazi!
