Staggering.

She'd be out of her depth on a parish council.

Embarrassing.

Their policy to decriminalize joining terrorist organisations should be a vote winner. Next election it might be al-Qaeda running against ISIL in Tower Hamlets.

Staggering admission wasn't it.
Why? They aren't going to win the general election so it is clearly a gesture in most places.

I haven't heard the interview but the really scary thing is that once you get beyond Labour, Conservatives, Lib Dems and the (maybe) rise of UKIP you actually have these people as "next in the packing order" of people wanting to run our country.

Did the Monster Raving Loony Party change its name to Green for a bit of a laugh, or what?

Hilariously inadequate in every respect. I'd laugh even harder if I didn't live in Brighton. Current scheme is to make the main bus route through the centre of town a low congestion zone. Now we already have hybrid buses, but to help they just dug up some road and congested the entire road. Went through there, buses backed up moving nowhere and engines running normally. Roadworks on the other main road into Brighton and to the beach must have invisible workers as fk all had been done, just squashed four lanes into two and left temporary lights up, increased time spent there by ten times easily. I do hope the blinkered idiots who voted the joke of a council in have all had their voting rights withdrawn. I'm planning a large scale voter fraud to get them out. Popping up to tower hamlets for some tips. But I should be grateful for their green policies that see Brighton in the relegation zone of recycling in the UK. Morons who would have entirely destroyed the city if the cons and lab hadn't worked together to keep them in check.

The thing is...when one thinks of 'the green party', I think of preserving nature, looking at alternative energy sources, protecting the countryside, fluffy bunnies etc etc.
But they actually stand for nothing of the sort. They are just mental. They are the new monster raving loonies.

Spot on!

The greens are the remnants of cnd, having lost the battle on nuclear, they now moved on to saving the planet.

One could almost, almost, think that they come up with policies that seem great over ethically sourced soya coffee, but fail to link up.

We'll ban imports.

We'll ban arms production. The firms will build windmills.

We'll get rid of standing armies and create Citizen Armies.

They'll need kit.

We'll import it.

Jackie, Jackie Chan.

If they had an MP or three, I bet Red Ed would have them in a coalition in a flash.

To anyone who has ever lived in Australia, this will come as no surprise. Australian politics are comical.
