And that, despite the car crash that is Politics today, is why proportional representation should never be introduced. It would give these utter nutters influence way beyond their little camp fires.
kind of reminds me of the great Blair speech: education, education, education.look how well that went, grade inflation, 1,000's of pointless degrees, and a generation of people brought up to believe in stupidity.

The coughing line fluffer is on Any Questions on Radio 4, repeated tomorrow afternoon.
Caught the repeat today.Question.."which party would you be prepared to form a coalition with?"
Natalie Bennett..."I certainly wouldn't prop up a Conservative government"
Audience....VERY LOUD AND RAPTUROUS APPLAUSE
Natalie Bennett ...something about Labour
Audience....UTTER SILENCE
So, a balanced audience selected by the BBC once again. No left wing bias there at all, absolutely none.

I wonder if it is more the case that the audience, being green, actually made the effort to get into the audience. I suspect that is the case in many of such programs, whist we sit back and bh about it, they actually do something about it.
The composition of the audience is down to the local organiser, which gets two-thirds of the tickets with the rest supposedly available via them to the general public. All the BBC does is hope for balance - if there was an overwhelming Conservative or UKIP bias then questions might be asked, otherwise it was 'balanced', of course it was.jmorgan said:

Its worth looking at the questions on the internet if you would like to be in the audience for QT I filled it in and did not get on, I wonder if I had filled in the form with all green information if I would have been picked.turbobloke said:
Almost forgot: the BBC mention making some tickets available to political Parties but while Con, Lab and LIbDem get a mention, UKIP doesn't. Nor do the Greens yet the audience seemed quite cabbage looking.
They've definitely had a load of local ukip members on before - they were all sat together a few weeks ago, one of them had a long rantDr Jekyll said:
To get back to the £60,000 new homes. Realistically how much would it cost to build say each two bedroomed terraced house on a large development if you ignored the cost of the land?
Various ways of keeping the cost down...Like letting Paddy do the drives with some of his tarmac, left over from patching the M1.

A grand a sq meter isn't an unrealistic price per square meter for a low to medium quality houseSo making flats you could charge 60K each and still make a profit

Some good ideas in there
Build hospital ships to help the 3rd world is an excellent way to spend money
Forest schools to teach townies about trees and stuff is an excellent idea
And some loopy ones
Give all animals human rights. So when my cat kills a mouse does he have to go to cat jail?

Surely, being "Greens" they should have all stayed in their homes with the TV and heating off, so as not to waste valuable CO2 on travel and the like...Gassing Station | News, Politics & Economics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
