Well, they are a little bit special. Check your passport inside cover for a start.
They are Britain's oldest inhabited dwellings and are very lovely.
- not if they were converted to dwellings in the C17 they aren't. Built in 1380 as a wool store, so nearly 200 years younger than 'the oldest inhabited dwelling in the UK' - see Saltford Manor House. They are Britain's oldest inhabited dwellings and are very lovely.
Still, they're very attractive and getting clear views of historic landmarks is damned difficult in this overcrowded island. Notwithstanding yellow Corsas too.

JLR should step in and sponsor the old guy with one of those runout classic Defenders.
Job jobbed, and a massive PR coup to boot.
I had the same idea! Mind you I also thought about giving him a caravan , you know one of those 2axle jobs with chrome and chintz curtains!Job jobbed, and a massive PR coup to boot.

If i was the owner of this corsa i would just go an by a massive long wheel based bright yellow sprinter and park it where the corsa is
nah - this'd really piss 'em off, a redneck Yank also wouldn't the Tower of London count as oldest inhabited?

Bibury is infested with coaches of all colours offloading Japanese tourists for 10 months of the year. If it's a public road he can park what he likes there. If people don't like it they can buy photoshop, or even try photographing the houses from the other end?
I saw an F40 parked outside the pub near the bridge there a few years back, and a Lancia Stratos, so it's a top venue for supercar spotting.

Also love that the 71 82-year-old is driving a boy-racer's car
Epic (if perhaps unintentional) trolling
It's no one's business what he drives, but his own. I can't quite believe anyone has the temerity to criticise someone else's car parked on their own property.
Someone should talk to the old boy and really wind people up - loan him a faded, rusty, wked-out old post office LDV van or something. That'd shut the snobby little fkers up.

Me too. If people feel so strongly about it - perhaps they should all chip in and pay for a garage to be built for him that is in keeping with the local architecture. It's no one's business what he drives, but his own. From the article - there is no legal restriction to him parking there, so I guess people will have to STFU and start learning how to be aware of the background when taking photos and crop better. Either that or learn photoshop. It's a 30 second job to remove the car - especially with the new(ish) content aware functionality.

30 seconds? That's a lifetime when you have to get it on Instagram NOW.From the article - there is no legal restriction to him parking there, so I guess people will have to STFU and start learning how to be aware of the background when taking photos and crop better.
