I saw that earlier, couldn't believe my eyes, a government report criticising the actions of the government.

There has also been talk about setting the Swedish immigration policy in line with the other EU states, only a few months ago that was considered ultra-racist.

It's funny (well not really) when you get the apologists saying "ah yes, but the way they record rape in Sweden is different" (essentially all accusations are recorded as a crime, regardless of conviction)

Which would be a decent excuse if they didn't ALWAYS record rape cases like this. rolleyes
At least get it right. Sweden does record differently in that if someone is raped 10 times then it's recorded as 10 seperate offences, unlike anywhere else as it's one offence. That does seem to skew the numbers somewhat...

Or then you can do like the minister in charge, and lie about the numbers hehe

The above is sexual offences, not just rape. Rape does show a similar pattern though, see below.

Looking at that I would say the trend looks to be pretty flat between 6000 and 6500 since around 2009/2010. Not sure what a possible reason for that could be.

His comments about the media I thought were particularly accurate.

Been a busy few days for the police in Northern Stockholm, a couple beaten to death with sticks in broad daylight (apparently the woman had witnessed a murder earlier in the year and was to testify) and last night two shot dead in a gang related murder, just a stones throw from each other.

Without a doubt Swedish born, just not living a normal Swedish life in the society.

Within 48 hours there have been five gang related murders in the suburbs of Stockholm, two police raids have been made in gang territory and AK47s and handgrenades have been found. A bit worrying really.

OK so they record it in a different way to the UK for example.

But if they haven't changed the way they report it in however many years, there's still a MASSIVE increase in reported cases. All of which coincide with a liberal out of touch government throwing caution to the wind with reagards to their immigration policy...

I notice the media is no longer bashing Trump over his remarks on Sweden. Too busy blaming Russia for everything. Including the CIA bugging citizens.

TBF I suspect that with the exception of the Yanks (who'd have shot him) and the French riot cops (who'd have given him a good shoeing) the Western police forces would have reacted in a similar way
