It appears Brits on PHs are more concerned about the situation in Sweden than the Swedes are themselves. If the Swedes are happy with the direction their politicians are taking them in then good luck to them (they'll probably need it) and let them get on with it. They had elections at the end of 2014 and voted for more of the same.
No, it's not that. The Swedes are very alarmed about it but they aren't about to have a revolution. What's interesting about the Sweden situation is that it in many ways allows us to see what might happen if we started allowing "refugees" into the UK in the orders of magnitude that Germany was suggesting we should have (last year at least).Finlandia said:
There aren't that many Swedes on PH, but the ones that are here are very concerned. Looking around the internet you find more and more normal everyday people voicing their concerns about the chaos going on in Sweden, heck even some politicians from the old and established parties have started talking about restrictions in immigration policy, that itself would have been impossible/racist just a year ago.
As for voting more of the same, many are too scared to vote for the only party that stands up against this madness, much because the MSM and other parties have successfully made the party out to be the equivalent of NSDAP, many are still gullible enough to trust the politicians of the yesteryears to sort this mess, some (even if they are getting less and less) are even in favour of the open doors immigration politics.
Fair enough, point taken.

Earlier in the thread we talked about the hoops that Swedes have to go through to get the chance of training to allow them to buy a hunting rifle. Criminals from wherever don't bother.

I could understand a shooting near Netto or Willy's, maybe even a COOP, but not near an ICA
Or Lidl. Still no decent strong screenwash in Lidl.

Me too, I do some shopping in Aldi whenever I'm staying in London. Their frozen paella is magnificent.Still no decent strong screenwash in Lidl.
fk using the Lidl in Trolhättan though, it's right on the edge of a really dodgy area. And I can't trust my missus with the food shopping in a Lidl (she doesn't check fresh stuff, just buys whatever is closest in the chiller) so she can't use the one in Ale Torg on the way home!
The local shopping mall in Gothenburg is a place I try and avoid, it has become a place for beggars, pickpocketers and now most recently african gangs, and by surprise the local rag is talking about it... http://www.gp.se/nyheter/ledare/1.2978181-ledare-l...
