Is there anyone (on either side of the race) who might seriously give Hilary a run for her money?
Short answer no. Long answer also no. And it's Hillary.

I think you're right. Too many loons on the right now and I believe the burgeoning Hispanic population tend to vote democrat.

How much money you would win if you placed a bet of £1. Stick a quid on Hillary to be President and you'll get £2.12 back (which includes your initial £1). £1 on Rand Paul wins you £21 and so on.

The shorter the price the more likely, according to the people placing these bets, it is for that outcome to materialise.

Carly Fiorina is a total no hoper, no chance whatsoever of getting the nomination. Even so the bookies still think she's got more chance than Ted Cruz! rofl

Mike "not that loser again" Huckabee is expected to announce today. Large number of evangelicals getting into the GOP race. It'll be fun watching them try to "out Christian" each other.

"I'm a creationist therefore I'm the most loony"

"Well I'm a creationist and I believe that a Hillary presidency will bring forth a plague of locusts"

"Plague of locusts! You're both practically atheists. I believe a Hillary presidency will bring forth the rapture within 5 days"

"I'm Michele Bachmann"

Ok, the last one's just too loony to contemplate but I can see some great "People's front of Judea" moments ahead. biggrin

Another god-botherer about to join the race? This was the guy who said London had 'no go zones' for non muslims.

Washington (CNN)Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal will announce Monday that he is taking a major step toward seeking the Republican presidential nomination by establishing a committee to formally explore a White House bid, CNN has learned.

The creation of an exploratory committee will allow Jindal to raise money to pay for activities such as political travel as he considers whether to join a crowded GOP presidential primary field. Jindal's campaign is expected to officially announce the creation of the committee early Monday afternoon, but has already launched a website promoting the Louisiana governor's possible candidacy.

"If I run, my candidacy will be based on the idea that the American people are ready to try a dramatically different direction," Jindal says in a forthcoming news release provided to CNN. "Not a course correction, but a dramatically different path."

Jindal, who is polling in the low single digits, says he will make a final decision about whether to run after Louisiana's legislative session ends June 11.

But pressed for specific examples of such no-go zones, Jindal demurred, saying he had met with "elected officials and others" to discuss them and noted a report in UK tabloid the Daily Mail...
This genius is getting his facts from the Daily Mail. The world is doomed.

Yeah, Jindal's expected to run. He's an no hoper but the more the merrier for clown school.

Lindsey Graham will announce June 1st although he's already told everyone he's running. He's a baptist whack job and close friend of John McCain. He's also got no chance but will provide some entertainment.

I think the point of the no-hopers running for President is not that they stand a chance of winning, because they don't, but that they end up being picked as the running mate or an appointee of the person that does win.

Do any of them have a serious shot at beating Hillary?

No, the comedy gold is in watching America go down the tubes, by its own hand. Hilary Clinton's donors are the same as every other "top contender" in the running, and her domestic and foreign policy will mirror that. Just as Obama's has.

Maybe Jeb Bush, if he isn't forced to tack too far to the extreme right in pandering to the crazies in order to win the Republican nomination.

Quite. It's an odd place, many things to like, many things that I don't like, but going down the tubes it is not.
