What makes you think that Americans believe it? That's a story picked up from the Mail on Sunday, so you could equally suggest (without evidence) that typical British people believe it as well.

A lot of Americans do believe it because republican politicians and their surrogates repeat it ad nauseum. The right love to distort the NHS for propaganda purposes. Some of the utterances from GOP politicians and the vested interests are truly mind blowing. This is my favourite though;

"If Stephen Hawking were British he'd be dead". rofl

That was Investor's Business Daily railing against the ACA and warning of "rationing" in health care if such a radical thing ever came to be. The irony of those on the right who oppose universal healthcare talking of rationing.......

It's on a Kremlin funded website/news organisation and doesn't seem to mention America at all.

Disregarding the link provided above.

Do you watch much RT?

I find that they (RT) whilst not being unbiased do address a hell of a lot more of world news than the BBC or Sky.

Going back a few years to when the UAE-CRU climategate email scandal broke, RT were right on top of it.

Excellent stuff gentlemen. Al-Jazeera, Euronews, CCTV, NDTV and France 24 are all Free-Sat news channels that give a good and unbiased-biased view of the world.

Euronews is particularly good at digging, I really love their 'No Comment' sections. TVC, ARISE & CNC are also worth a watch if you can ignore their global climate bullst. Their local news is often very interesting.

I'm fortunate to work from home so all of these news channels are permanently on all day in rotation. I'll give BBC or Sky perhaps ten minutes each during the day.

Fox news is like crystal meth for me at the moment, I just can't get enough of it. Their love of Republicans and utter condemnation of HRC is better than any soap opera I've ever seen. At every turn they are supporting Trump without actually saying anything that supports Trump. It's magical, and so clever. Media in action.

CNN are way more Democrat, way more in support of Hillarity but giving some support to Sanders, and looking like they will st themselves if a Republican gets to be POTUS.

On a more serious note - has anyone else noticed HRC seems to be getting a bit croaky in the throat? I'm really hoping she gets a decent dose of laryngitis in the next few weeks and is forced to shut F up. hehe

Sanders put out a statement tonight that effectively conceded so HRC can pivot to the general election now.

Cruz can't catch him, he got over 50% in every primary so he essentially wrecked Cruz and Kaisch. If he falls short of the required number they could diddle him at the convention, but that would be a terrible mistake for the party I'd say.

Those predicting a brokered convention are going to be disappointed as Trump edges closer to winning outright.

Winner takes al for Trump.

Sanders won one.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election-us-2016-3614718...
"There's winning, and then there's WINNING.

Donald Trump's night is shaping up to be the latter, as he steamrolled his opposition in all five mid-Atlantic states.

This campaign season has been punctuated with a series of theories about how and why Mr Trump's presidential ambitions would eventually be thwarted. The latest was that he'd never be able to win more than 50% of the vote as the field narrows. It appears likely that he'll easily surpass that mark across the board and claim the lion's share of the delegates at stake."

It's not over until it's over.

There is still a Republican convention that has to happen and the FBI investigation may result in Biden being the Democratic nominee.
