One thing that I am not surprised by, but cannot fathom, is that so many Brexit-supporters want Trump to win. If Trump wins and we leave the EU, we will be royally fked.

Trump would make a lot of noise about crushing ISIL, but would otherwise abandon the Middle East and walk away from the Iran nuiclear deal. Saudi Rabia woudl be weakened and Iran, with Russia's help would beome the major power in the region. Meanwhile, Trump's anti-Muslim rhetoric would increase ISIL recruits and increase flows of refugees to Europe.

He says he would make friends with Putin and that Nato members need to pay fro their own defence. Nato would diminish in importance. Our influence in Nato would diminish as the French and Germans moved quickly towards their European Army. Putin would be delighted and the Baltic states would live in fear.

Trump would cause a trade war with China and has expressed his lack of support for US security guarantees to Japan and South Korea. The Asian economies would deteriorate, damaging world trade.

Trump wouldn't give a toss about negotiating a UK-US trade deal.
Nice story

The reason brexit supporters like trump is because he's genuine and not full of st like Hilary. He is putting me America first just as we want to put Britain first. He is anti globalist which is why he's against the EU.

Why would we need a trade deal with the US? They are a fking fairytale. Trade deals are not needed ! They only exist to serve the elite. Now wake up and realise which side is corrupt , because it certainly isn't brexit and trump!

Plus, what they fk are we doing in the Middle East anyway? Pull everyone out and leave them all alone. we need to look after our own affairs.
Wow, that's genius! I wish I'd thought of all that.
You did. You just said it in a different way smile

What a choice.
Did you mean to write?:

Hillary - will move the US back

Trump - will move the US forward.

I'm sorry to be blunt but if you don't realise Trump is completely full of st then you are a fvcking simpleton.
If ever there was a way of discrediting the Brexit campaign you found it!

Let's face it, if DJT and HRC are the best that the U.S. has to offer, they're f'cked.

No idea who would be best (least dangerous) for the USA / world. However it's going to be a fun campaign to watch, I suspect Hillary's team are already preparing themselves for some Trump attacks. biggrin

Presidential nominees are most disliked since US polling began. Trump net approval -40, Clinton's -20.

I must admit I have casually assumed Clinton would walk it against any of the republican clowns but it's looking neck and neck. The FBI are going to swing it, if they decide to indict her and when... bloody hell

Presumably they'll find time to do that right after indicting Trump for fraud over Trump University. hehe

I wish it wasn't the case, but there won't be a brexit, nor will Trump become the US president.
Sorry to break brexit hearts, but neither will happen.
When st hits the fan, those that are still 'undecided' will decide to vote to stay in the EU.
With Trump, he's gone soo over to the left to get this far in the race to become the Conservative candidate, he's isolated himself amoungst pretty much everyone else, even with an awful rival like Hilary as his rival, he won't stand a chance when it comes to the elections.

Sanders is forcing Clinton to the left when I'm sure she would prefer a clear run at the Trump from solid middle ground.

Once she has the nomination, she can forget about Sanders.

Apparently Paul Ryan will run a shadow campaign talking about the issues that matter to republicans because Trump "can't be trusted to articulate them coherently" . So they'll be Trump ads running calling HRC a witch / proclaiming that everything will be great and declaring that Trump has a huge bank account / penis / skyscraper and they'll be GOP ads running talking about fiscal policy / abortion / banning gay marriage etc.. The hope is that the brain dead who actually like the candidate will see his ads and go vote and the right wing whack jobs who form the base of the party will see the pro life, anti gay stuff and err... go vote. That way they think they can bolster the down ticket.

Both the past two GOP presidents have discovered that their diaries are suddenly full in July and have said they won't be attending the convention as have the past 2 GOP nominees. The only past nominee in attendance will be Bob Dole who's so senile these days he won't have a clue where he is or what's going on.

Meanwhile The Donald has said today that there is a "40%" chance that he will pick a former rival as his running mate. Given that Cruz, Bush, Graham, Paul, Fiorina and Walker wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire, Carson and Huckabee are completely bonkers (not necessarily a barrier to the appointment) and Santorum, Perry and Jindal are just plain unelectable that leaves Christie, Rubio and Kasich. The "little Marco" stuff would just make things too easy for the democrats surely? So Kasich or Christie? The 60% looks a better bet. Perhaps Bobby Knight? laugh Someone suggested Mark Cuban this morning. Or Geraldo Rivera to balance the ticket? biggrin

I was only half joking about Condoleezza Rice... obviously Trump couldn't be a misogynistic racist then. Job done!
