Relax. There's a long way to go and a mountain if st will start falling on the Donald next month. I refuse to believe that the American public, whom I interact with daily, will elect a narcissistic, racist conman to the highest office in the land. The polls will fluctuate wildly but Trump's negatives with women, African Americans, Hispanics and young people remain stratospherically high. You can't win a general with white males in 2016.
That's a ridiculuous notion...many blacks know it's illegal immigrants that took their (usually lower paid) jobs, many of them will vote for Trump only because of that. Many legal hispanic immigrants despise those illegal ones that just jumped the fence instead of filing huge documentation and going through a hassle as they had to...many of those will also vote for Trump.

And don't get me started about women, many of them sure will not vote for a woman that didn't get divorced from a total cretin that couldn't resist an under average looking Monica's offer.

That's not entirely accurate: at the time, is movie had not been made, so 'actor' would be merely a smear.... wink
You can't compare the two. Reagan was an accomplished 2 term governor of California with a track record of government. He was not an egotistical blowhard nor was he in the habit of insulting minorities and women.

Trump's negatives with women (70%), Hispanics (77%), African Americans (79%) and Millennials (74%) are constant and you cannot win with those kind of numbers. He is not doing anything to change them and really can't given everything he has said. On the bright side he is viewed favorably by Nascar fans (48% to 45%, the other 7% didn't know who he was). So Yee Ha!

True, but within the negative polling / opinions, there are also many (within some of those demographics) who are democrats, whatever the situation.

However....I did presume that Halb was suggestng Reagan, but I was actually making a joke about gore-florida2000-incovenient-truth
Sure, but you can't win with those negatives. Trump needs to score 11 points higher with women that Romney did. Can't see it happening.

There's a better movie, it's called Recount and shows how Gore was truly robbed in 2000. Katherine Harris assured victory for Dubya in Florida and was repaid when the Bush family financed her 2003 congressional campaign. Laura Dern captured the crazy in Harris pretty well.

I do enjoy having a good chuckle at the Bernie supporters on various online news outlets/forums etc. Their denial is staggering in some cases, it's all too easy to draw parallels with the Corbyn mob here in the UK imo. silly

I don't mind Bernie so much, I agree with some of the things he has to say, he probably wouldn't even make a bad president. Corbyn on the other hand is a dribbling fvckwit who should be stacking shelves at tesco.

I hope so. Cameron should build bridges and work with whoever the US public choose. Cameron was an idiot (in the mold of the London mayor & other non-entities ) to be so undiplomatic in the first place.

Details?

And also, what on earth does this south London attack, if it happened, have to do with the US Presidential election?

This is NP&E. EVERYTHING is directly or indirectly related to muslims.

Muslims, global warming and the BBC is what it seems like.

Maybe PH could change it from NP&E to MGW&BBC

Confused with this West London event that occurred yesterday.

"A man has been charged with attempted murder in connection with the stabbing of four women in a supermarket car park in London.

Ethem Aydin Orhon, 66, was charged with four counts of attempted murder and one count of possession of an offensive weapon. He appeared at Wimbledon magistrates court on Saturday and was remanded in custody to appear at Kingston crown court on 17 June.

The women, aged 53, 62, 67 and 71, are in a stable condition in hospital. They were attacked in the Sainsbury’s car park in the suburb of Hampton, south-west London, on Friday, just after 10.30am. Some of the women were attacked as they got out of their cars".

Website feedback -------------------------------------------------------->

As long as there's space enough to accommodate a thread for needy people who go off-topic to seek group approval from metoos it should be OK.

Meanwhile did the claimed incident materialise in the news anywhere?

So other than his name, which may or may not indicate that he might be a Muslim, no-one knows the motivation for this attack do they?

I still don't see what this has got to do with the US Presidential election.
