Read all about Trump University have you? About the thousands of mainly vulnerable people who were conned out of what in many cases were their life savings? A scam so bad that a judge compared Trump to Madoff? But you "find yourself liking him"? Wow. Did you also think the Krays were "nice boys, kind to their old mum" but who got a bit "carried away"? You probably think Nicholas van Hoogstraten is a "decent bloke who tells it how it is"?
Trump Uni - is that your best shot?

Don't forget Hitler. He loved kids. And dogs (crap. I don't much care for dogs so that rules him out).

What about Thatcher. I definitely liked her.

I take it you'll be voting for Hillary? Squeaky clean no doubt?

And war. Don't forget that. There is a reason the neocons are falling over themselves to back her now.

Eh? You're kidding right? It's dominating the news cycle here in the US and he's getting very rattled about it because he's going to lose the case. Even members of the Trump U faculty are now turning on him in court. He conned thousands and thousands of people out of their life savings and it will eventually ruin him as a businessman. The Trump brand is already toxic but this will put the nail in the coffin. When you look into the case it's a systematic Ponzi scheme and he should really be sharing a cell with Bernie.

Trump's tweets on the subject could have been written by Craig Brown for the Private Eye spoof.

Cadillac decides wisely that it doesn't want to be associated with Trump's toxic brand so does not renew it's sponsorship of a PGA event at a Trump Florida gold course. The PGA can't find a single sponsor who wants their name to be linked with Trump's so they move the tournament to another course, in Mexico. Trump blames the PGA. rofl

The Inpector General Report on Clinton's emails makes for interesting reading. She might yet get nailed over this.

Quite. Which is why I think Trump might prove to be OK.

It's funny a few post/pages back where a PH-Poster said this TrumpU issue might backfire - and Bingo there it is. Not a crooked issue in sight, no sir no-siree.

What a despicable lying turd she really is. I cannot fathom how anyone could vote for her.

Hmmm, smells rather more than Trump running a 'University' that some people think was a rip off.

They're accusations by ONE guy (as far as I can see). I think there's just a smidgeon of a difference between what she's being accused of and what Trump is. In fact. it could have been taken straight out of Trump's MO - the "make enough accusations and hope that the gullible don't question them".

Do you think Hilary is the right person to lead the USA?

Compared to "the Donald" is that a trick question, it's like a what car car thread asking whether to purchase a H2 Hummer or a Range Rover for the school run, none are exactly PH cars however one has absolutely no redeeming features.

No comparison was asked for. As a (I hope) sane human being I'd prefer not to vote for either of them, and if those are the only options then it is conceivable (although I'm far from convinced) that HRC would be better that DJT; the question remains, however, would she be the right person to lead the USA?

Well the Trump / Ryan honeymoon lasted a long time! laugh

http://www.cnn.com/2016/06/03/politics/clinton-sta...

Actually I think Ryan's played this in a pretty smart way. He delayed his "endorsement" as long as he could and then gave it grudgingly. He has to be seen to support the candidate but at the same time he knows the candidate will lose and secretly wants him to lose. He will have done the right thing in endorsing but will also have been seen to have done it reluctantly which will retain his credibility with the tea party who put him where he is and also hate Trump. This will position Ryan very well for the 2020 nomination which is his end game.
