My Yankee post was a joke. The Patriots are going to be without Tommy for 4 games so it's going to be tough.

I never bet on politics. They allow morons to vote which makes it unpredictable. wink

Trump won't win. The British people are naturally Eurosceptic and the vote was always going to be close. Trump on the other hand is disliked by 70% of Americans, 55% of whom have said they would never vote for him.

The former Polish foreign minister (who went to Uni with CMD and is a personal friend) was on BBC WS this morning saying that he knew "for a fact" that Cameron did not expect to win the 2015 election and if he had thought he might he would not have promised the referendum.

Trump meanwhile lands in Scotland and triumphantly congratulates the natives on voting for independence. The moronic twunt didn't even know that Scotland had voted overwhelmingly to stay in the EU and will soon be voting to go back in as a truly independent nation.

It's not though.

He would have 100% guaranteed losing the election by refusing to promise a referendum.

So was the policy promise desperation or scorched earth?

Nazi golf balls to play with at Turnberry?

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/electi...

The irony is of course that while Trump lords it up at Turnberry the R&A have said that the course will never host The Open while he owns it.

not on PH but basically anywhere, people are sick of others calling them names and many of them will vote for Trump although they really didn't plan to vote at all

Have you actually listened to Trump? He has basically alienated every group (often by name calling)in this country apart from older white bigoted males. He has historically bad negatives with just about every demographic and a 70% overall negative. Huge numbers of republican voters will stay home on Nov 8th which will crucify their down ticket. He may get a few red necks who wouldn't normally vote to turn out for him in the south but there are millions who may not have voted who will turn out to ensure he loses. That's assuming he is still on the ticket in November, which many republicans hope and believe he will not be.

I sometimes get his announcements on my fb feed, all groups he alienated are illegals and terrorists, I'm OK with that.

You mean groups like women or the LBGT community?

I have seen he showed strong support to LGBT community after Orlando attacks and many of the gays came to thank him in the comments.

He might be against gay marriage but that doesn't mean he is against LGBT community because not all of them want to get married. But sure all of them would like to be alive and not killed by unvetted terrorist.
