My Yankee post was a joke. The Patriots are going to be without Tommy for 4 games so it's going to be tough.

I never bet on politics. They allow morons to vote which makes it unpredictable. wink
You calling me a moron

Would you vote for Donald Trump?

Yes = Moron

No = Sensible person

While there have been many senior republicans who have come out and said they will not vote for Trump most have stopped short of saying they will vote for Clinton. However that is starting to change and two grandees of the party, Hank Paulson, treasury secretary under Bush 2 and Brent Scowcroft, NSA to Ford and Bush 1 have now come out and said they not only reject Trump but they will vote for Clinton. This comes after Richard Armitage, who served Reagan and both Bush's, also endorsed her.

Meanwhile, as Clinton is represented by high profile surrogates like Obama, Warren, President Clinton and Claire McCaskill Trump has literally nobody. Not a single leading republican is stumping for him and he's reduced to using trash like shoplifter Katrina Pierson to represent him in the media. Must make republican voters real proud.

it is his official page, a bit better source than various magazines that very often twist his words

I have seen he showed strong support to LGBT community after Orlando attacks and many of the gays came to thank him in the comments.

He might be against gay marriage but that doesn't mean he is against LGBT community because not all of them want to get married. But sure all of them would like to be alive and not killed by unvetted terrorist.
You mean when he talked about 'the gays' - oh they really loved that! http://www.advocate.com/comedy/2016/6/17/how-gays-...

So your primary source for information about Trump is his own feed? I'm sure that's a nice, unbiased source of data!

Respected Conservative journalist George Will has actually left the Republican Party because he does not want to be associated with Trump. He joins a long list of republicans who simply cannot stomach the idea of supporting a racist conman.

All of which will count for nought if your compatriots vote for the guy.

The campaigners over there could do worse than learn from what happened here on the referendum...don't dismiss anyone's views, don't be inclined to try and belittle people holding a different view, don't risk even remotely being seen to doge questions and give straight answers.

2016 has a lot still to give I suspect, globally smile

You mean groups like women or the LBGT community?
What has he done against women or gays? I notice the Dems keep saying this and people just start believing it without really knowing why?

His misogyny is well known. As is his personal behaviour with women.

He accused Megyn Kelly of being on her period because she asked him awkward questions. (She was reminding him that he had called women "fat pigs", "dogs", "slobs", and "disgusting animals.”)

He said women who had abortions should be "punished".

He said "You know, it doesn’t really matter what the media write as long as you’ve got a young and beautiful piece of ass".

He told a woman journalist "you wouldn’t have your job if you weren’t beautiful".

He said Bette Midler was "offensive" because she was "ugly".

When a female journalist criticized him he sent her a picture of her column with her photo circled and "face of a dog" scrawled over it.

His first wife Ivana Trump accused him of marital rape.

He said "Ariana Huffington is unattractive, both inside and out. I fully understand why her former husband left her for a man – he made a good decision".

Of Rosie O'Donnell he said "If I were running ‘The View’, I’d fire Rosie O’Donnell. I mean, I’d look at her right in that fat, ugly face of hers, I’d say ‘Rosie, you’re fired".

He told an opposing lawyer that she was "disgusting" because she wanted a break to breast feed her 3 month old daughter.

He embarrassed a contestant on Celebrity Apprentice by saying "That must be a pretty picture, you dropping to your knees".

There are hundreds of instances of sexist remarks and downright creepy behaviour towards women but it's fine, the overwhelming majority of them are going to send him a message in November when they vote against him.

Interesting article here.

I find it humorous that you lot continue to harp on his non PC behavior (a good thing to many) and say nothing of legal offenses of Clinton's, confirmed by the State Department. People have gone to prison for far less. More coming out all the time. If President Obama was truly honest, he'd allow the FBI to recommend indictment. The other worry is what has she promised the countries that donated millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation while she was SOS? Rest assured, they were promised something.

BTW, many of those nations she took money from have the worse record of treatment towards women of anywhere in the world. The hypocrisy and irony are blinding.

Completely overblown by the right wing media. She did nothing different from what Colin Powell did. Rules since changed and that's fine but she did nothing that was illegal.

There will be no indictment because their was no criminal behavior. Trump on the other hand is being sued for fraud by more than 5,000 people whom he conned!

Trump's being sued for fraud. Hillary sent some emails from from her private email account.

Do you not realise how pathetic it looks comparing the two situations?
