What? Taking money, from some governments not all that friendly, while seving as our top diplomat? One should not need "rules" to know better.
What on earth are you talking about? Hillary Clinton didn't do anything of the sort. The Clinton Foundation is not Hillary Clinton. Hillary Clinton was not working for or on behalf of the Clinton Foundation while she was Secretary of State or prior to that time.
But of course, that sound entirely plausible. rofl
Do you take your wife to work with you then? Involve her in all your decisions? I never have and I don't know many people who do but you sound a bit insecure so maybe you do. Takes all sorts. I'd have thought that sec of state was pretty much a full time job so I should think she'd get a bit peed off if executives from the CF kept calling her every time they collected a donation, especially as she had nothing to do with the foundation until 2013. See before she was sec of state she was a US Senator, also a bit time consuming.
(Insert sound of stuka dive bomber please)

My American friend reckons the dollar is due a tanking, and it'll happen when Hilary or Trump take over, thoughts?

You could argue that the $ is over valued at present but that's more to do with the pound and Euro having taken a huge hit recently and the "safe haven" effect whenever there is turmoil in the world. I'm sure US exporters are desperate for a re alignment.

This sums up your position I think. You fully realize Clinton is a terrible candidate, but you support her so that you are on "the winning side."

Congrats, you've been fully Americanized.

To me his love of Hillary seems a bit, well, err, psychotic.

I've said on here many times that I don't think that she's the perfect candidate by any means and I would have liked to have seen a strong alternative emerge from the mainstream of the party. However, it is what it is and she's a decent candidate, especially compared to the alternative which is unthinkable.

I am of the same line of thought but from the opposite perspective. I believe that the GOP would have been better served with Ben Carson or John Kasich. However, I believe Trump is a better alternative to Clinton; this is my opinion. I am not so much a Trump supporter as I am a Clinton blocker.

Trump better than Clinton. Yes he is.....at lots of things. A crook, a racist, a woman hater, a rapist, a tax dodger, a liar, a cheat, a fraud............lots of things "better" than Clinton.

The US needs Blair/Cameron as a caretaker President while you sort some decent politicians out.

Pretty silly post really. Explain how he is a racist. Because he wants people to immigrate legally to this country? Are we the only nation that should have open borders?
A crook, specify that example if you would. A liar, cheat, etc. Give examples. I caution you though, similar eaxamples for HRC are readily avaialble.

Both candidates are flawed. If the GOP had a Rubio, Kasich, or similar, it would be a slam dunk against HRC. Her negatives on likability and trustworthiness among her own party are high. She has spent tens of millions more than Trump with a hugh ground apparatus, yet she is near the margins of error in most all polls (except for the Washington Post-ABC which everyone dismisses as flawed). She should be miles ahead. She is a horrible and disliked candidate. The Dems and GOP chose the worse of both IMO.

That said, as I pointed out earlier in this thread, I have met and spent time around Mrs. Clinton twice in the 90s. She is obnoxious, overbearing, self important, rude to those around her, and possesses a volcanic temper. Some of that I witnessed, some was verified by the Air Force One crew that was in sequester during these visits. This was during Bill's administration, I shudder to think of her as number one. Many of these negative attributes may be attributable to Trump as well, if so, like I said, the worse from both parties.

If the choice were between Trump, Robert Mugabe and a raspberry blancmange I'd be rooting for President Bob with President sweet and sickly dessert running a close second.
