Rubbish. The DNC sets the rules and they stuck to the rules that they set.
They did set the rules; they failed to stick to them.

What happened in the Democratic primaries this year, IMO, shakes the very democratic process to its' core. The response from the Democratic party of "Oh the Russians did it" is beneath utter contempt.

And what Hillary did today, by giving DWS a position with a fancy title in her campaign, should have even those who unrepentantly approve of anything that the twits in blue do shaking their heads in shame and disgust

We should be proud of ourselves, for all the rhetoric that the Dems love to throw out there they have brought themselves nearly to the level of what one expects a third world party to do.

I am absolutely disgusted.

Cap'n, where you been? biggrin

I got so used to you coming on here and blaming Obama for everything and then just like that POOF! you disappeared a couple of years ago! Have you and Jim been off together organizing the resistance to the Obamist / Clintonian takeover? He just turned up again out of the blue after a couple year absence and started a ranting and a raving about how democrats were ruining the world and blacks were shooting everything up. Now you're back too. It's like a band reunion. Not a very tuneful or melodic band but a band none the less. Welcome back Cap'n! music

As an aside - did you used to go by Cap'n Stabbin' or was that some other captain I'm thinking of?

Awesome speech by Cory Booker just now, a star is born. Republican strategist Steve Schmidt - "There is not a single republican who could give that speech".

Earlier Sarah Silverman, a very vocal and prominent Bernie supporter, endorsed HRC and ended with a message to the "Bernie or Bust" folks - "You're being ridiculous".

Right now a young widow of a serviceman killed in Iraq is telling how, after his death, Trump University conned her out of his death settlement. She's one of thousands.

First Lady to speak next, followed by Sanders and Warren.

Brilliant, poignant, barnstorming speech by FLOTUS. Watch it if you can. Best speech I've ever heard her make.

"Don't let anyone ever tell you that this country isn't great".

Warren next, the hall is now totally united.

UR,

I have been busy working, some of us have to pay for this crap. Amusing name "Cap'N Stabbin", quite eloquent and mature.

Obama sucks and I still dislike him. I still lament that fact that Obamacare costs me more now than A Range Rover Sport Supercharged for worse coverage than I had before this twit started this wildcat scheme. Of course I could go on with numerous examples but facts rarely sway you.

Curious as to what you think about the Democratic party's skullduggery.

Warren started a bit slow but she warmed up by the end. Not her best speech but a solid performance.

Waiting to feel the Bern now, ointment at the ready.

Ah, not you then. I remembered you were a bit of a nautical chap, as I believe Cap'n Stabbin is. I mistakenly mixed you up. Cadillac but not Stabbin. Got it, I'll try not to mix you up again.

I'm feeling the Bern. The whole arena on its feet as he proclaims "Hillary Clinton must become the next President of the United States".

Good on you Bernie.

He's laying into Trump now, excellent stuff. I'm off to bed, need to get up early and earn some cash for my campaign donations.

DNC crowd: A mixture of “HIL-A-RY! HIL-A-RY!” and “BERN-IE! BERN-IE!”

RNC crowd: “U-S-A! U-S-A!"

I like Bernie. Despite having been stitched up and ostracized by the Democrats he still supported their candidate.

I'm now thinking that HRC's VP pick is a bit of a beta-male, designed to be a quiet shadow behind her.

I'm actually a bit upset that they didn't manage to convince Joe Biden to run.

Quite, a few emails showing that a few DNC people would rather have a candidate from their own party represent them is not a scandal. And it's doubly not a scandal because Sanders has wholeheartedly endorsed her and will double down on that endorsement tonight.
It's not a scandal, but the DNC chair resigned, and Clinton's Image is at lowest point in 20 years - link . Guess she's just not electable then smile

I am convinced that Hillary Clinton will win.The more time goes on I realize that people just don't watch the news and those that do are only watching to find out what the weather will be and how their local sports teams played.
Those that do watch the news may well be disgusted by the antisemitism of the Democrats exposed by wikileaks but if they're finding this out watching MSNBC (generally leftward compared to other channels ) then it is very likely that it would make zero difference to the way that they actually vote. The print media is not much better. During my trip to the supermarket yesterday I saw a local newspaper that said nothing of consequence on the front page, leaving ample time to learn about a feud between a Kardashian and a pop star and how an Oscar winning actor has been seen chasing a blonde rather than the girl he has been dating for the past year. If those are the sources of information then why would we expect a different result?

Watched this on you tube. A very moving speech - I wonder if she will take a run at the presidency in due course...?

Smiler.

There's a reason why Americans are often viewed in a certain way. And this is it.

You've quoted my post about the DNC scandal, removed all reference to the DNC scandal, and then said "b-b-but Trump is worse!".

It's always the same with you Hillary supporters laugh

The reason that people have significantly gone for outsiders during the primaries is because they know the economy is well on it's way somewhere without a paddle.

I hadn't seen these graphs before.

Look at the direction Hillary's unfavourables are going (getting worse), and the direction for Trump (at worst flat-lining)...

Clinton: Favorable/Unfavorable

Trump: Favorable/Unfavorable

Christ I hope not. Three families in the same seat for (a possible) 44 years would be the ultimate indictment of democracy.

Just watched John Oliver...laugh
Very good, who was that last speaker at the RNC they showed? erm....hehe

ANyhoo, so Kaisch was offered control of both foreign and domestic policy?
