Some BBC bias stuff here, if you all will bear with me. I was listening to NPR, our government subsidised radio network. There is a portion of the daily programming that is covered by the BBC. They were asking young people what mattered to them about the coming election as well as their opinions on various topics.
When asked about terrorism, some fool, with what sounded like a straight face, stated that climate change probably is to blame for terror acts. He reasoned that the temperature in the Middle East has risen .02 degrees and this causes agitation, and therefore terrorism. So, this idiot believes that some people, mostly Muslims, decided to go on a killing for God because his neighborhood is too damn hot. Now, thankfully, these type mental midgets are outnumbered by saner people, even among other Democrats. My point of contention is how the BBC made sure this thankfully minority opinion made it to the front of the line. rolleyes

Let's get to the real reason he is called a racist. It is because he wants to enforce our legally binding laws of immigration that are currently unenforced (mainly the Mexican border) in order to secure votes for Democrats. This is not racist; however, the Dems are well aware that if ones says something long enough, it becomes true in some people's mind. So now, without any reason, the Hispanics are led to believe Trump is racist. This is the same method to convince people that he is suppossedly against women. A man who has more female than male executives in his international corporation is supposedly against women. Go figure.
Fair answer, as always Jim.

I think CD has been deflected since Trump expressed his views on Muslims and his wish to review following the horrific deaths.
Possibly, although that was refined to state that those coming from nations known to support or harbor terrorists would be subject to extreme vetting.
Now you are confusing the issue with facts and logic. smile
Stepping all in the minefields with that sort of foolishness! biggrin

Whilst I wouldn't agree that a tiny temperature rise causes terrorism there is some truth to the fact that rioting and looting tends to happen in hot weather as more people are on the streets and agitated etc, even British criminals are put off by rain.

Oh no doubt about it, our crime rises in the hottest months, even the full moon. smile I find it hard to fathom, however, that an increased temperature will cause Muslims, lately in Germany & France to go on a killing for God. Fanaticism? For sure. Mental Illness? Maybe some of the time. It is hot back home so I am just going to have to whack some of you? Not so ready to buy that. nono
Besides, I was just annoyed at the BBC for working to search this fellow out.

"maybe"? There's no maybe about it, just excuses and diversions. Was it still "maybe" 2 years later when he was sued a second time by the Justice Department? Was he just misconstrued when he said he preferred Jews to "blacks" counting his money ? Was that list of examples in the HuffPost link maybe all biased and untrue? How about him being a champion of the Birther movement? Was that a recent enough example of what a vile individual he is or does it not count because it didn't happen in the last 10 minutes?

Leaving all the above to one side, one thing that shows what a 24-carat narcissistic sperm-sac he is, we're his comments about Senator McCain. Compare and contrast a vain, self obsessed, bouffanted bag of bovine excrement with a genuine hero and somebody the GOP should rightfully hold in the highest regard.

He's a disgrace.

Not a fan of Hillary. Did feel that she seems spent already - she is trying extremely hard and not confident she can carry on at this pace till the end. Obama/Clinton were awesome till the end. Surprises ahead.

Setting a new world record for blatant double standards Mike Pence, Trump's running mate, has complained about President Obama obliquely referring to Trump as an demagogue, saying “name calling” has “no place in public life” .

Trump, lest we forget, is the man who has described other competitors for the White House as "Little Michael Bloomberg", "Crooked Hillary" [Clinton], "Corrupt [Tim] Kaine", "Liddle Marco [Rubio]", "Lyin' Ted" [Cruz], "Crazy Bernie" [Sanders], "Goofy" and "Pocahontas" [Elizabeth Warren], and "Low Energy Jeb" [Bush].

Trump is incredibly racist for his stance on illegal immigration and border control.

Hillary's stance on this issue has never changed, of course.

In fact, she said in 2005
HRC said:
“I am adamantly against illegal immigrants. ... Clearly, we have to make some tough decisions as a country, and one of them ought to be coming up with a much better entry-and-exit system so that if we’re going to let people in for the work that otherwise would not be done, let’s have a system that keeps track of them.”
In November 2015 she said:

Well look, I voted numerous times when I was a Senator to spend money to build a barrier to try to prevent illegal immigrants from coming in. And I do think you have to control your borders.
Now do you see why Trump's comments are racist, but [presumably] Hillary's are not?

No?

Me either.

How the heck do you get a "racist" tag on what you've "quoted" Hillary as saying.

She made that comment back in 1996.. Let's see what Trump has said over the years

Vox said:
1989: Trump on the Central Park Five: "They should be forced to suffer"

In April 1989, New York City was transfixed by the case of the "Central Park Jogger," a woman who was brutally assaulted and raped while out on a run. Five black teenagers — the "Central Park Five" — were almost immediately arrested, and confessions obtained.

Less than two weeks after the assault, Donald Trump ran an ad in New York City papers with the blaring headline "BRING BACK THE DEATH PENALTY. BRING BACK OUR POLICE!" The Times has an image of the ad embedded in an article about Trump's early controversies — it's worth seeing in full.

"I want to hate these muggers and murderers," the text of the ad says (in part). "They should be forced to suffer and, when they kill, they should be executed for their crimes."

Postscript: The five teenagers were all found guilty on rape or sexual assault charges, and all served time in prison. In 2002, another man confessed to the crime, and his DNA matched evidence from the crime scene. All of the Central Park Five had their convictions vacated, and the city of New York paid them $42 million in a court settlement. (In 2015, Trump told the New York Times that because they were involved in some sort of criminal activity that night, they were treated too well.)
vox said:
2000: "The St. Regis Mohawk Indian record of criminal activity is well documented"

Donald Trump joined a lobbying campaign to keep the New York state legislature from allowing the St. Regis Mohawk tribe to build a casino in the Catskills. (A casino in the Catskills would draw business away from Trump's casinos in Atlantic City.) As part of the campaign, Trump secretly bankrolled a series of ads that appeared in upstate New York newspapers fearmongering about the St. Regis Mohawks and crime:

Are these the new neighbors we want? The St. Regis Mohawk Indian record of criminal activity is well documented. This proposed Monticello Indian Casino will bring increased crime and violence to Sullivan County.

Call Governor Pataki today at (518) 474-8390. Tell him you don't want Indian gambling in Sullivan County.

Postscript: Trump ended up paying $250,000 for failing to tell the state lobbying commission that he'd been behind the ad campaign, and another $50,000 on a new series of ads acknowledging he'd paid for the first ones.
nytimes said:
In 1991, a book by John O’Donnell, who had been president of the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, quoted Trump as criticizing a black accountant and saying: “Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day. … I think that the guy is lazy. And it’s probably not his fault, because laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is, I believe that. It’s not anything they can control.” O’Donnell wrote that for months afterward, Trump pressed him to fire the black accountant, until the man resigned of his own accord.

Trump eventually denied making those comments. But in 1997 in a Playboy interview, he conceded “the stuff O’Donnell wrote about me is probably true.”

Please enlighten me too. All I can see is that Clinton wanted to tighten all border controls. Trump has accused Mexicans of being rapists, criminals, etc and initially wanted a blanked ban on all Muslims.

C'mon answer the question, stop using the usual smoke n mirrors tactic.

What race was Hillary referring too. Not trump, Hillary, answer the question.
