I posted that yesterday. The moron who blames Obama for 9/11 because he wasn't at his desk in the Oval Office is fairly typical of a Trump rally attendee. It's why Trump has been successful with these halfwits, he speaks their language of conspiracy theories and fear of "furriners ".
Actually, it has more to do with the fact that he is running as a Republican. Most inhabitants in flyover states such as yourself hate Dems, and that is all that is required. You not being an actual American are the exception to the rule.scherzkeks said:

O/T but is that be the most insulting thing you could say to an American, given how patriotic you all (y'all) are? Given how jingoistic some of our more... prepared posters are, I'd imagine saying they were un-American would get you invited to a quick-draw shootout at midday. turbobloke said:

I always thought Unrep was from across the pond? Question still stands anyway, it wasn't really accusing Scherz of being insulting, more pondering the offensiveness of it. Not that I want to offend, I am quite balanced between loving America for holidays and food, and being damn glad I don't live there permanently...
Unrep is not American, and is often wrong about a number of things relating to Americans. OpulentBob said:

So who on here is actually eligable to vote for the US President?
Good point Gavin. I'm not but I'm married to someone who does and I do pay all my taxes here. I do contribute modestly to campaigns and my wife worked the phones for Obama and others as a volunteer in '12.
I may do citizenship at some point just so I can vote.

Is this the most low brow election is US history?
The talking head say this is a vry weird election. In past years policies would be dissected, that is not happening. It's just lurching one major chatter point to the next. In that Atlantic programme I mentioned, they said they had 6 in one week, it's normally 6 a campaign. Gassing Station | News, Politics & Economics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
