Wow, what extraordinary stats from that site, it says the VAST majority of folks in the world would like to see a president trump, even places like the UK and Canada!

I have not spoken with anyone in the UK who feels that way, in fact I genuinely don’t know of anyone other than some posters on here who supports Trump, and all of the people I know in Canada say they are terrified and horrified by Trump in about equal measure.

Heard on LBC a couple of hours ago that a professor who has correctly predicted all US President elections since 1984 has predicted Trump. Sorry, don't remember their name

yes

I was convinced the Remainers would win in the in/out referendum. I was also convinced that the GE results would be much closer than they were. I am also convinced that Clinton will win just because she's not Trump. Could I be wrong three times on the trot?

Hope so! (If only to witness Unrep go into meltdown..)

Doubt it! I would piss myself if he wins though, the media melt down would be brilliant, the Guardian opinion pieces alone would be superb.

Whilst I agree that Clinton is likely to be more of the same old same old, he's hardly a breath of fresh air is he? Loaded, business man, conservative and self important.

How wacky!

Redacted FBI documents from that investigation, dumped on the Friday afternoon before the long Labor Day weekend, revealed that Hillary Clinton either willfully lied to the Bureau, repeatedly, about her email habits as secretary of state, or she is far too dumb to be our commander-in-chief.
Worse, the FBI completely ignored the appearance of highly classified signals intelligence in Hillary’s email, including information lifted verbatim from above-Top Secret NSA reports back in 2011. This crime, representing the worst compromise of classified information in EmailGate – that the public knows of, at least – was somehow deemed so uninteresting that nobody at the FBI bothered to ask anybody on Team Clinton about it.
...

This week, however, we learned that there is actually no mystery at all here. The FBI was never able to get enough traction in its investigation of EmailGate to prosecute anybody since the Bureau had already granted immunity to key players in that scandal.

...
Why Comey decided to give Mills a get-out-of-jail-free card is something that needs proper investigation. This is raw, naked politics in all its ugly and cynical glory. Corruption is the tamest word to describe this sort of dirty backroom deal which makes average Americans despise politics and politicians altogether.

...
The State Department won’t release the full collection of Clinton’s emails until after our November 8 election. Just this week a Federal judge blasted Foggy Bottom for its slow-rolling: “The State Department needs to start cooperating to the fullest extent possible. They are not perceived to be doing that.” Nevertheless, the public won’t get to see all of Hillary’s emails until after Americans decide who the next president will be.
A few choice quotes as to why the Email scandal is such a big deal. I highly recommend reading the full article (above, written by a former National Security Agency analyst and counterintelligence officer.).

Mishandling SIGINT information? Wow. How many decades in jail would that get a mere mortal?

If anyone can disprove the factual information laid out in this article, please do. It rings true with months of reading I've done about it.

It does make me chuckle though, the comparisons between Trump and Putin. The corrupt, too big to jail, above the law, pay-to-play candidate is somehow more dictatorial than Trump. laugh

Horrific as it sounds but I think he has every chance. Clinton is just as bad for other reasons. Both bad liars

Have you been on manoeuvres and maintaining radio silence for the last 2 weeks?

That was widely reported at the time, eg http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-37333909 . (Video removed from the BBC because the rights holder is restricting it). It was widely reported both in the US and elsewhere.

Every time I see a post from 5ohmustang I can't help thinking of an old joke.

2 old ladies, Gladys and Maude, like to go to the local working men's club in Bolton on a Friday as an act is always booked.

One night they arrive and settle down with a sherry and Maude asks Gladys to go and find out who the act is. Gladys goes up to the guy on the door and asks him who's playing.

"Country and Western love" is the reply but Gladys is a bit deaf and she asks him again.

"Country and Western" he says a little louder. Gladys still can't hear and asks him to speak up.

"COUNTRY AND WESTERN" he shouts. "Allright, no need to shout, I'm not deaf" she replies and goes back to her seat.

When she get's back Maude says "well, who is it".

"Oh just some **** from Preston" she replies.

Hillary Clinton’s closest personal aide often sent classified and top secret State Dept. emails to her personal email accounts, according to documents released by the FBI.

Huma Abedin told FBI agents in an April interview that she didn’t know how to consistently print documents or emails from her secure Dept. of State system. Instead, she would forward the sensitive emails to:

Her personal Clinton.com email address
Her personal yahoo.com address
Her email linked to husband Anthony Weiner
Abedin said, according to FBI documents, she would then access those email accounts via webmail from an unclassified computer system at the State Dept. and print the documents, many of which were classified and top secret, from the largely unprotected webmail portals.

Clinton did not have a computer in her office on Mahogany Row at the State Dept. so she was not able to read timely intelligence unless it was printed out for her, Abedin said. Abedin also said Clinton could not operate the secure State Dept. fax machine installed in her Chappaqua, NY home without assistance.

Perhaps more alarming, according to the FBI’s 302 Report detailing its interview with Abedin, none of the multiple FBI agents and Justice Department officials who conducted the interview pressed Abedin to further detail the email address linked to Weiner. There was never a follow up, according to the 302 report.

The revelations are part of the FBI’s document dump late Friday which included nearly 200 pages of supplemental interviews conducted during the Clinton criminal email investigation.
Quelle suprise, Clinton's aide Huma Abedin admits breaking federal laws to the FBI and receives no punishment!

Hillary can't operate a fax machine? rofl

If you based it on issues rather than personalities you may get a very different result.

Support or oppose open borders
Support or oppose further globalisation
In favour of new "cold war" with Russia or not
Believe in armed "humanitarian" interventions or not.

We don't actually get a vote in this country so don't really weigh up the issues but base our judgement on a few carefully tailored snippets in the news.

The 52% who backed Brexit suggest that if we ourselves had the rather ghastly choice between Hillary and Trump the result would also be close.

That depends when you snapshot the Trump policies as they flip flop around, changing as the wind blows. It's pretty obvious he doesn't believe a lot of the policies he's pushing as they contradict so many of his previous statements.

That still doesn't tell us much. She left who to die in Benghazi? Consider many of us unversed (or maybe previously uninterested) in American Foreign Policy... And to be honest I haven't got time to do hours of Google research, trying to find unbiased and sources that aren't tinfoilers.

(I've asked my brother, RAF, veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan, about it and he doesn't know...)
