Have you owned Astons? I used to hear that TVR's were unreliable but that was usually from people who'd never had one. None of mine were unreliable. I'll listen to people who know what they're talking about, whatever the subject, be it leasing cars, owning cars or US politics. I'll respect a poster like Jimbeaux because despite his racism he does actually have an understanding of what he's talking about, unlike most of the contributors to this thread.

I've never owned a Honda or wanted to so I can't comment on yours with any degree of knowledge. I'm sure it's very nice.
No, but my Dad had a V8 Cerbera from new and it was a reliability nightmare, a beautiful machine though, truly - again, horses for course and anecdotal evidence I guess, s'what got me interested in cars way back when ah war' a lad! cloud9

The Honda isn't that nice, sadly. It's fun though!

Last post from me on cars, sorry!

It happens to be true though. White males without a college education - Trump wins hands down. White men over 40 with a degree he wins narrowly. Every other demographic he loses. Even college educated white women, a demographic Romney won, go for Clinton by a big margin.
What is your opinion on that prez-picking prof choosing Trump?

I listened to a piece on SKY News earlier, where it seem the Clinton side are portraying the Trump voters at middle aged white racist males with little to no education.

Didn't the Remainers try this same tactic for the EU in/out vote?

Does that make them racist?

Why not? $3k a month isn't that bad for an Aston. why is someone an idiot for doing that?
3k a month for a vehicle you will not own is nothing short of financial madness. Not to mention it has no soul.
No, your thinking of a Kia

Funny you should say that as I have found the Chinese to be reasonably intolerant in some areas - towards Indians and black folk in particular (in my experience).

I work for a global company with a diverse work force and whilst in China I noticed that those of a darker skin tone than me, including an English black guy, (I'm a white English guy) were more or less ostracised by our oriental friends, to the point of discomfort on some occasions, they just didn't seem to respect them or "take them on" to the extent that they did with a cracker like me - the Indian chaps in particular were the target of some very unreasonable behaviour.

Of course not. A lot of them are though and a lot of them are afraid and believe the propaganda that "furreners" are stealing their jobs.

Can I join in? A disproportionate number of them seem to like guns too, for some reason I admit to not being able to truly comprehend, with them being an item that has a limited range of reasonable applications.

Unlike Californian wine, which you could use to clean a submarine.

Why would he, 5ohm? The inevitable 4k+ megatonne counterforce exchange that would herald the premature end of a Trump presidency when the psycho fruit-loop loses his rag and mashes the Big Red Button will also herald the end of life pretty much everywhere else on the planet in short order. Where would you go to escape that?

It's such an absurd premise because obviously he's not going to win.

But...

If enough Americans did completely lose their minds to the extent that the unthinkable happened I would pack an arsenal and a few cases of decent Pinot Noir (Oregon) and decamp post haste to my cabin in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee and prepare for the inevitable apocalypse.

Now you're just being cruel. biggrin

See we liberals are a live and let live bunch. Even if the person we're talking to us a brain dead halfwit they're still a human being with rights and feelings and ... hang on hurl

That's better. Yes it has internet but Trump would probably blow that up too.

Kim Wrong-un could just donate $20M to the Clinton Foundation and she'd send him the codes (via a non-state.gov server, of course).
