One of Trump's 'facts' was the most retweeted item during the debate last night. His denial that he ever claimed that China created the concept of global warming. He really ought to learn you can't deny saying something which you tweeted to the world previously.
Doesn't matter whether his original claim is true or not, but his willingness to lie about having said it says so much about his trustworthiness.

There can't be many people at all who consider any politician trustworthy. They've crossed the lie line at some point, no doubt for what each saw as a valid reason; it goes with the turf.

Just wondering, since Clinton also has a long history of lying about what she's previously said, do you find her equally as untrustworthy?

I don't think she's particularly trustworthy, but think she's probably less untrustworthy than Trump.

That's not saying much though is it, in fairness?

It certaily isn't.

A continuum of political trustworthiness can't be trusted. Any politician anywhere on it can and will lie at any time. As they say, you can tell because their lips are moving.

Sadly, nail on head.

The Clinton's legacy for the US is barely different or better than Blair's in the UK and they've been every bit as good as he has at milking the whole charade for as much as it's possibly worth.

Whilst I dislike a lot of what Trump stands for, I find the establishment cronyism of the Clintons equally distasteful.

What a choice.

Indeed. Like many on here, I don't think either candidate is particularly worthy of the position and have concerns about what their election would mean for the rest of the world..

Can't argue with that assessment!

#Clintonemail is going to have another round of popularity now that Obama's collusion is being outed http://nypost.com/2016/09/24/obama-used-pseudonym-...

“How is that not classified?” Abedin “exclaimed” to investigators when shown a copy of the 2012 exchange between Clinton and Obama, according to a trove of 189-pages of FBI documents dumped Friday night into Clinton’s use of the private server.

After learning that the president used email with a pseudonym — apparently to try to protect his identity — Abedin asked her interrogators if she could keep a copy of the email.

Clinton did a much better job than Trump. His sniffing and his strange facial expressions when they were shown in split-screen didn't help him, and then his taking of the bait every time time Hillary tempted him was just ridiculous. It was as if he had either done no debate preparation at all or just completely ignored his campaign team.

Trump came off as ill-equipped to take on the job of POTUS and again showed how thin-skinned he is.

Moment of the debate for me, when Hilary was talking about the last tax return Trump released, years ago, where he did not pay much tax, and he said, (almost involuntarily) ’that makes me smart’. True colours came right out there…………………..

The other one, he said ‘I did a great service’ on getting Obama to release his birth certificate. Disgusting. The only good thing I can see coming from any of this is I think Obama will be held in higher regard in years to come, for his intelligence and inherent dignity.
