Nawt wrong with a 50cc moped, you leave that most modest, but useful form of transport out of this! silly
They make an awful lot of noise without acheiving much.
Well well well, who does that remind us of that has been in the news a lot lately? scratchchin

wow
it's close.

This is gonna be an entertaining night.
That's the Senate race, no? Is that what you meant to post?

I mean would anyone of you get in a car on a crowded race track with a driver who has:
No experience of driving, but says I'm top class horse rider and the skills translate directly,
Says he doesn't need to learn as he is a natural and how hard can it be,
Calls all the other drivers idiots,
Tells you he will refuse to obey all rules and etiquette's on the track,
Probably not. But the other driver has a track record to make one shiver. Especially on little things of no significance like war and corporate cronyism.

There's so many people whose livelihood/career depends on a Clinton victory that I just can't see it not happening.

I am talking about media, lobbyists, foreign sponsors of dodgy background, weapons manufacturers, pharma companies, banks, universities, government bench warmers and so on.

Trump has to beat all this critical mass.

Still, I'm hedging my bets in case Tony Blair and Gordon Brown officially endorse her in public.
I know what you mean, it's like when you were 5 and your mum, dad, all your siblings and teachers tell you, don't jump out of a 4th storey window cause the superman cape you are wearing won't make you fly, but your classmate "Jonny" swears that you will fly and it never occurs to you that sometimes the adults are right.

yes, it looks like it will be closer than the Presidential race, and possibly more important.

Jesus fking christ, the man makes Mike Ashley look like a philanthropist. He makes Corbyn look clean and Dubya look eloquent. He is literally being cheered on and supported by de facto dictators.
Mike's a decent guy, I've spent many a good night out in his company.

Trump reminds me most of Robert Maxwell and more recently of Philip Green. The similarities to Maxwell are astonishing. Both utter narcissists with misogynist tendencies who became embroiled in petty feuds and sued / was sued thousands of times. Both had ludicrous grandiose self regard and a bullying unpleasant temperament. Both were vain to a ridiculous degree, especially about their hair. Both were philanderers. Both had two sons, one of whom was the loyal accomplice Kevin / Don Jr and the other a blithering idiot Ian / Eric. Both had daughters who were the light of their lives Ghislaine / Ivanka. Both thought nothing of robbing ordinary people to line their own pockets. The main differences are that I can't recall Captain Bob being overtly racist, Bob was a war hero whereas Trump is a cowardly draft dodger, Bob fooled around but only married once and Bob made his own money. In fact in hindsight Captain Bob was a paragon of virtue compared to Trump!

So how do the Trump supporters on PH justify his refusal to release his tax returns?

Why on Earth should we be worried about his tax affairs?

Because not everybody wants to accept that he's a proven liar and this would help to confirm it.

Ps are you really that unworldly?

Of course he isn't. He's trolling, because he thinks doing so is "funny".

Don't worry, soon he'll completely misunderstand a post, make an irrelevant reply then flounce off when his mistake is pointed out to him..

What if there isn't much exciting about his tax returns and he's just timing their release and winding you up in the mean time?

That would be a bad move in terms of his electoral chances surely? If they truly were squeaky clean then surely the best course of action is to release them, silence the doubters and move on swiftly rather than winding folk up?

I've got to say, I'm slightly to the right of Ghengis Khan but the thought that Donald fking Trump could be elected leader of the free world is absolutely mind bogglingly terrifying. Donald Trump people. The man is unhinged and woefully out of his depth. fk me.

If he won, which I doubt, but lost the house to the Dems he can basically whistle for the full term of his presidency (one term only, I would very much imagine). They could cock block him at every move and he could spend the next four years wringing his tiny hands.

Pretty much what the Republicans did with Obama I think.

They have been a thorn in his side me thinks, particularly where budgets have been concerned, Unrepentant will know more being stateside though!

I'm not sure really. Most good (or bad) news appears to produce a fairly short term bump (or dip) in popularity - see convention bounce. The folks getting would up about him not releasing his tax returns are not going to vote for him under any circumstances anyway. They may even be an asset when the tax returns look reasonable to the less interested/swing voter.

You are a little behind on the news.

Trump has not paid tax for a long time, because he is so smart, apparently.
