Again, this forum excelling itself.

"It'll be funny if Trump wins"

Because normalising the hate filled rhetoric he's built his campaign on is FUNNY?!

Enabling the far Right nut jobs of this world is a funny thing?! Normalising hate speech is amusing?!

fk off.
It's safer to say "It'll be funny if Trump wins" than saying "I'm a hate-filled right-wing nutjob who would love it if Trump wins because he hates Mexicans and Muslims and that's actually all I'm bothered about".
Indeed. Right wing nutjobs just have no conviction these days

I find Jim Jeffiries amusing, but have never thought to fact check his material. I didn't post it as if it were gospel =)

No, I know, and I laughed, but I just wondered if it was actually accurate. Crazy figure if it is!
Peaked at 1% in 2008 and has declined slightly since. The US is home to 4.4% of the world's population and 22% of the world's prisoners.

I strongly suspect that accurate figures for China would reduce that 22%.

Clinton could be responsible for the kidnapping of Madeleine McCann, the shooting down of flight MH370 and stealing Kim Kardashian's necklace and she'd still be a better President than the honking pile of biological components known as Donald Trump.
She's been implicated in things that are serious failings as a politician. From her behavior with the emails, benghazi, lying about her little sniper incident on a runway in the 90s. Yet you all eat up this "Trump is evil i'd rather have hillary" Hasn't the last 20 years of her actually in some form of political office shown she's unfit yet?

As for this "hateful rhetoric" grow a fking pair, we're starting to see people unashamedly turning their focus more to home and their own rather than this deluded post 90's idea of helping the world out hasn't done much to help anyone really has it?

What i see with all this is the right-on "anti facism/anti capitalism/anti establishment" youth and washed up semi-retarded hippies backing a woman who is the establishment. She represents the government as it has been for the last 20 years.

I just no longer get it, trump is just a braggart i wouldn't want to hang around with, i couldnt see myself being top pals with him, but i do see someone untainted by pay-for-access donations as well as pay from very big companies and countries the average american was supposedly against pre-election.

Let's face it...they are both crap candidates.

In a country of over 200 million people they were the best they could come up with?

Unbelievable.

Maybe so, but isn't it just a bit odd that the self styled land of the free has an incarceration rate of more than 7 times the European average?

I love lots of things about the US and have been there a number of times - but they really do seem to like locking people up

I posted a link over on the main Trump/Clinton thread about his campaign being prepared to accept $2 million from a Chinese organisation via very dodgy methods - it's illegal for candidates to take 'donations' from overseas parties.

Trump is proof that inheriting stupid amounts of money means you can do absolutely everything you've ever wanted to do - including buying your way to US President. When you have his kind of money, low intelligence and being downright dangerous in your attitudes to much of the rest of the world is no barrier to becoming president.

Many will point a finger at his 'business acumen' as a qualification for presidency - the truth is he'd have made more money by sticking his inherited fortune in a bank than he has out of his business ventures.

Looks like Scott Adams has now completely lost it. Now claims that ISIS are not attacking the US at the moment because they support Clinton... http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/dilbert-cart...

Just made me think, can anyone name a seriously intelligent politician?

And are they not just the fun show puppets for the people who are really in charge?

We lock up too many people for low level drug offenses. You will also find a disproportionate number of African Americans in jail, which is symptomatic of the level of poverty amongst that demographic. There is less emphasis on rehabilitation and more on punishment here.

Obama is doing his best to reduce the prison population though.
