Bush has spent over $140 million
That is fking mental.
Agreed. How you can spend that much money and not get anywhere. You would be a tad annoyed financing a shocking campaign and then Bush pulling out of the race.

If the Republican party wants to avoid their shot at the presidency being destroyed by Trump they need to prune their field down and quickly.

Kasich and Carson need to bug out immediately then it's a matter of binning either Tedward Cruz or Mark O'Rubio. It's Cruz who has to go but persuading him to do so won't be easy.

Trump's unelectability in the general election is acknowledged even among his own supporters so if Rubio were to be the only other Republican candidate I believe he'd be the Republicans best chance of stopping Trump.

Ultimately the best result for the Democrats is for the Republicans to carry on tearing themselves to bits and for Trump to emerge to take on Hillary. I think Rubio would also lose to Hillary but at least he'd do it with some semblance of dignity for the Republicans and make them look like less of a pathetic stshow.

Cruz will go all the way to the convention unless his numbers fall off a cliff. THis will end in tears, a brokered convention and the destruction of the GOP. biggrin

Latest wisdom from the talking heads on CNN last night is that the brokered convention will result in a Rubio / Kasich ticket but who knows.

A Rubio/Kasich ticket is not a bad call for the GOP, but they first of all have to get by Trump. Trump will continue to hurl bombs at them of course. For sure, the big money will got o Rubio, but the problem is that Trump has the celebrity thing going, needs to spend relatively less money since everything he does and says is covered by every media outlet.

Clinton has a relatively good range of choices for VP, like Julian Castro or John Hickenlooper assuming she does not hit the rocks somewhere with Sanders.

If there's a brokered convention Trump doesn't matter, they'll just bypass him! He'll then run as an independent and that will ensure that HRC wins every single state and will probably hurt the GOP down ticket as well. beer

Sanders will fade away. Interesting fact about him - he's not even a registered democrat!

If Sanders runs independent not good for Clinton mainly I would think. Its less than two weeks to SuperTuesday by which time we should be clear. I would think it very likely there will be a bordered convention.
The worrying thing would be Clinton with Sanders as an independent and Rubio breaking through with a credible VP like Kasich. That just might give them a shot.

Sanders won't run as an Indy, he actually wants a democrat to be in the WH. Trump would run just to fk the GOP!

So Trump vs Clinton then?

That should be fun!
Indeed it will. It's Idiocracy come to life. Both are equally bad for the country, though one will be far more entertaining to watch. Hoping Trump can pull it off.

According to Tracy Ullman it's all his; she said in an interview for the Radio Times that she grabbed it and gave it a tug to check and it's the real thing. hehe

Please can I swap my vote in the EU Referendum for a vote against Donald Trump? The prospect of him getting anywhere near the White House exercises me far more than the Europe issue.

That's bleedin' obvious; who would buy such a ridiculous-looking wig?

"Hey, I'm insanely rich, I'm gonna buy me a wig that looks like someone dropped a shredded wheat in a candy floss machine!"
