it may account for the scribes cocking up the facts when making a record of Gods word. See above post for evidence comment.
So you refer to 'evidence' but you don't know what evidence of what you are referring to. Okaaaaay.
Hint, I've just asked you another question about your M.E prejudices!

Twice you have said this. I ask again; what possibilities does atheism deny? I will repeat, so you can be sure; atheism is a lack of belief (in god(s)) not a belief in a lack of god(s). BTW your understanding of what agnosticism is also flawed; is perfectly consistent to be an agnostic atheist.

This comparison is nonsense. Blue jumpers and red jumpers are equally likely, there is not a lack of evidence for blue jumpers, blue jumpers do not require faith to exist. The blue jumper is not invisible and unknowable, the blue jumper does not demand you act in specific ways in order to be worthy of it.

In short the chances of god / no god are not 50/50, not all binary choices are equal.

What's your thoughts on the existence of the tooth fairy? 50 / 50?

You also conveniently forget the agnostic theists.
Wonder why? Hmmmmm......

Tony, my point was not about odds but about choice and free will.

Live your life by the good book and you might get to to spend an eternity in heaven surrounded by God botherers.

Personally, that's my definition of hell.

Do you accept the possibility that God has a sense of humour - and sends all the evil people to heaven and the good people to hell?
Voight - You seem to have missed this one.

It would be interesting to have your views on the possibility.

Ah, so you treat other people's opinions dogmatically? You mention evidence and then you refer to opinions.

It's a possibility. If you want it to be.

Well, God did have a sense of humour when it came to Job etc.
So it is perfectly feasible.

Hahaha!
So I ask you a question.
Do you believe a God exists?

And I'm happy with that. I don't try to insist my beliefs are fact.

Atheism is defined as a lack of belief in god - not a rejection or denial thereof.

To reject or deny religion or god is antitheism, not atheism.

I am perfectly open to there being a God. Just provide some evidence

There is just no evidence whatsoever throughout history for one.

For some reason God decided that the best way we should all know him is:
a/ Talk to us all.
b/ Talk to some random individual person - and they will then tell all of us.
If you were God - which would you chose?

If anyone has any evidence whatsoever for God- now is a good time.
But I'm confident none that stand scrutiny for more than 5 minutes will come.

I have no belief in god(s). I am also agnostic about it, however the more we learn the stronger the chance that I will (if I live long enough) drop the agnosticism.
