Well as I said, either family or foreign but I get no pleasure from seeing this at all. Sadly this world is screwed!
That's not what you said, stop trying to weasel out.

Sad news for the family.

2 arrested on suspicion of murder and at least 5 on suspicion of assisting an offender it would seem to be very close knit. I wonder if this will turn out to be another group of foreign gentleman responsible.

Gone. What did it say?
It was a post from facebook from the aunt, the one who was going on about people trolling her brother to the media, stating that the step brother and his girlfriend were the ones arrested.

If you think that would stand up in court then your dreaming. The chaps however on the first few pages, with regards to the father, I would be deleting some posts if so.

Just caught up with the latest sad news on this case. Poor girl. I hope those responsible are made to pay for their despicable actions. I don't see why anyone who can commit such a brutal act should ever be given freedom again.

It's the fathers wifes son

I think this may be him in this appeal video:

Whatever the background, or cause, or "motive", if does beggar belief to anyone who is even halfway normal that someone could not only commit murder, but having done so, could think of, and go through with, the process of chopping the victim up - and that having quite obviously not been either clever, careful or apparently discreet in that action, that they might get away with it.

I don't think that can be him, he's called Joe Galsworthy and must be a much younger brother of Darren (the father). The DM has named the person arrested as Nathan Matthews (his mother is Darren Galsworthy's second wife).

Father has been posting some very disturbing stuff on bacefook.

I have my own suspicions........
What might they be ?

My money is on the Father.

He is doing the classic 'diversion tactic'. Indeed, where on earth did he glean the information about her being 'on'? I can't imagine any teenage girl discussing that with her Father? His request for wives and girlfriends to check partners underwear for blood would suggest he has some knowledge of that. Also, in these cases, it's pretty unheard of for the parents to even contemplate, let alone publicly declare they think the child is dead/raped etc-unless they know otherwise.

The white van thing is a red herring.

Finally, the possessions. Does anyone seriously think she left the house of her own accord without her purse and makeup-the father didn't think of these things 'cos he's a man.. The electronics went but they are things that could damn the fathers account of timings of her disappearance.

He's in it up to his neck.
Anything to add...like an apology t the poor man!!

So the father was faking it then ?

Another strange quote, this time from the girl's grandfather who says that the father won't be helping with the search due to his "frantic emotional state".

Guess it might have been deleted. I saw one about the arrested woman apparently arriving at A&E after trying to cut her own wrists (if that was it), complete with police escort. Social media folk get warned about naming people, but the tabloids go to town. RIP Becky.

Ah right, the Mail says he appeared in some appeals so no doubt someone will find the correct one.

Indeed. It's amazing how many people are experts on major, high-profile investigations whilst they're on-going.

I'm sure the Senior Investigating Officer's media strategy is based around 'thinking they are a movie star' rolleyes

Other helpful inputs about the family hearing news from social media... If only someone could suggest the police have a specialist role which is in constant contact with the family to give them updates and accurate information... Perhaps they could call it something like a "Family Liaison Officer", or "FLO" for short.

Who have a young child of their own. Beggars belief.
