Living as I do in a suburb of Miseryside which is popular with players of both Teams, my Kids regularly inform me of the younger players, they have seen, attempting to pick up girls in local "night spots" who are yet to take their GCSEs. Not sure how they get in such places without ID, but I assume, it is unlikely that said young lady will point out her age to the poor sap. You have to feel sorry for these lads.

Sunderland have announced the midfielder has been suspended by the club pending the outcome of a police investigation. A statement from the Premier League club said: "Sunderland AFC has confirmed that Adam Johnson has been suspended from the club, pending the outcome of a police investigation..."
I hate this sloppy kind of reporting, which you see in the newsppers all the time: first they tell you some fact - then they immediately quote somebody telling you that same fact, in exactly the same words.
