One the one hand you criticise Cameron for not cutting enough, then criticise him for cutting defence spending too much.
You also accuse him of having no backbone, and now criticise him for standing up for a friend.
Your debating ability is questionable at best when such hypocrisy is apparent.

erm yes. ok
If it turns out that Clarkson was in the wrong and the actual words used were nasty and actions unprovoked, the Prime Minister has condoned that behaviour. Do you not see that is more important than him trying to weasel votes after seeing the petition?

Here's a suggestion. On May 8th, do not switch on any media or read any papers. You will just get too angry whatever the result.

So you think it is ok for the leader of the country to condone what may turn out to be unprovoked and unjustified agression in the workplace?
I may have misheard what he said to be honest.Did he actually say he condones it?
I though he just said Clarkson was a big talent and a friend.

He was really diplomatic and didn't take any sides as befitting his position. He didn't say anything like "I hope it can be sorted out", or that "he had many responsibilities as prime minister, but sadly, securing the future of Top Gear isn't one of them". He especially didnt put any further pressure on the BBC by saying how heartbroken his kids were.Did he actually say he condones it?

I would like a Tory/UKIP coalition when the election comes.
The only screw up I think the tories did was taking on the last 4 years, instead tactically I would have handed it back to Labour and watch as they become unelectable for decades as the country goes bankrupt.
Sometimes like the banks, you have to let something fail due to bad management and start a scratch, not bring in the clean up crew that make the unpopular decisions to save the company and get ousted, just for old management to come back and take the company back to the brink.
