Vote UKIP if you don't want to be part of a Federalist super state, Vote Lab/Tory if you do...

Financial Times said:
The president of the European Commission has called for the creation of an EU army in order to show Russia “that we are serious about defending European values”.

In an interview with German newspaper Die Welt, Jean-Claude Juncker, who leads the EU’s executive arm, said an EU army would let the continent “react credibly to threats to peace in a member state or a neighbour of the EU”.

...In an interview with German radio on Sunday, Ursula von der Leyen, Germany’s defence minister, also spoke in favour of a European army, pointing out that a brigade of Dutch soldiers was already under German command.

“I think that in the Bundeswehr we would also be prepared, in certain circumstances, to put units under the control of another nation,” she told Deutschlandfunk. “This interweaving of armies, with the perspective of one day having a European Army, is, in my opinion, the future,”

...Mr Juncker said an EU army would “help us to develop a common foreign and security policy, and to fulfil Europe’s responsibilities in the world”. Nato was not a sufficient protection for the EU as not all EU members are part of the alliance, according to Mr Juncker.

Posted this on the ukip thread , it was only last year that Farage was mocked as a dangerous fantasist for stating the EUs intent to form an Army.

Nick Clegg isn't in a position to mock anybody about anything, he's in danger of losing his own seat and his party have collapsed in the national polls, UKIP and the Greens currently have a larger, broader level of voter support, and have had for some time.

Mans a head case.

Since UKIP have no idea how to leave the EU I would say vote UKIP and join an EU super state. Vote Tory and you might, just might, avoid it.

Them pesky Germans trying for a 3rd time to run Europe? The way things are going though I don't think it will be that many years until we see a 'United States of Europe'.

Well we give Europe enough money to fund one!

Also doesn't this happen currently? We fight ISIS and everyone joins in... Or should join in!

I don't ever see any party other than UKIP getting us out of the EU.

Vote Labour/Tory/lib dems get no referendum.

The Tory party is at least as pro-EU as the other (traditional) parties in the UK.

It is more dangerous as it continues to dupe conservative voters like you into endorsing it. The Tory party as it stands is worse than useless, and the quicker it falls apart the better.

The guilt complex that has restrained generations of genetically militaristic Prussians Germans is fading.

As I have said UKIP have no idea how to leave the EU so looks like we are stuck.

You clearly know very little about the Tory party. About 50% of current MP's are likely to support an exit, and 75% or more a renegiation.

Owen Patterson is even starting to think about how we could exit.
