One wonders, are the Police involved? If "yes" , oh dear for JC, if not, lefty handwringer stitchup'Following a fracas with a BBC producer, Jeremy Clarkson has been suspended pending an investigation. No one else has been suspended. I like this BBC piece;
"At the time, he said the BBC had told him he would be sacked if he made "one more offensive remark, anywhere, at any time".
- so letting go a stray word someone, somewhere might find offensive would result in immediate dismissal, but Savile could grope and bugger his way across the decades at Television Centre without censure...

I bet Channel 4, ITV, Channel 5, Sky etc etc are melting their phones trying to get through to JC et al offering them prime time slot for 'Top Gear 2/Sixth Gear'. BBC shooting themselves in the foot if they can't manage JC to keep TG on air.
Couldn't agree more.I really hope that TG moves away from the BBC to somewhere not so left leaning.

fido]Maybe this is a made-up [either by the BBC or JC said:
tiff designed to allow Clarkson to escape Top Gear and join another channel .. maybe he's had enough (big ego according to a friend of mine) and wants out?
I alluded as much on one of the other 37* threads running on this. * approximately
Did not Clarkson sell the Top Gear "rights" back to the BBC a couple of years ago? I stopped watching Top Gear a year or so ago, mainly because thrashing the latest Ferrolamboghirninini around the same test track became tedious. As did star in a car, as did the sameoldsameold camera work. Ambushed into watching it a couple of weeks ago, it's still quite good.
Good luck to Klaxxxon in whatever he does, although he looks like someone in his late sixties so perhaps some health issues?
