It's a sports chat show, pretty much an updated version of the old John Inverdale show. Given that Balding has managed her career to become arguably the BBC's lead sports presenter now then how is this controversial? The best chat show around currently is generally The Last Leg so another sports chat show that is more easy listening less edgy and absolutely not Woss or Norton is good with me.
Exactly, completely non controversial, a woman and a lesbian, perfect for the BBC.
Nah, she's white, they missed a trick.
And the problem is?
We don't really need another fluffy chat show?

What age are you?
So no then. biggrin
[sigh]

So, you are about 19.

I envy you.
Don't worry, only about another ten years and you'll be there. thumbup

Best of all, by then you might realise there is more to life than Top Gear.

Who knows, you might even stop believing you know the intimate details of interpersonal relationships based on something read that was loosely based on something that was said by someone who left the show in 2003! wink

Says it was an international "threat", probably came from one of the promoters of the Top Gear Live shows his decisions are making bankrupt!

noticeable lack of dismay about the other major female sports commentator, or is that a combination of misplaced lust because she's ( at least nominally) straight and because of her sport as a athlete combined with a bit of pity for her family circumstances pre-marriage ...

Yep, they seemed to have no pause about gutting the studio and carting all the set pieces away. Like they couldn't wait.

Fair point - I shall rephrase...your assertion that 500 BBC jobs will be lost.
