What utter rubbish!
1. Biting inncident happened on 21 April 2013
2. He was banned for 10 games.
3. He then played for Liverpool until the end of the next season.
4. Sold to Barcelona in August 2014 (which is not being sacked).
So that will be 16 months after he carried out his biting incident.
Yes he faced dire and instant action didn't he!
Actually he got a new contract and a pay rise1. Biting inncident happened on 21 April 2013

You pretentious arse...
You are Russell Brand and I claim my Mars bar.
Ad hominem, much? You are Russell Brand and I claim my Mars bar.
The fact that you defend Clarkson shows that you're part of the problem. As are the people here saying violence in showbusiness (or football for that matter) is OK, and those knuckle-draggers who tweet insults and death threats to women TV presenters.

Hardly surprising, four key individuals create winning formula. BBC disrupts formula by creating public hoo ha instead of dealing with the matter quietly and efficiently.
Four key indivviduals paddle own canoe to create same winning formula sailing on a different ship. BBC lose, new ship sails onward.
Cannot help but wonder what other originals from the TG crew will be jumping ship and sailing away.

I wouldn't be surprised if he jumped ship to join them .what a smack in the face for the BBC luvvies that would beAs it is, he is stuck at the BBC. I doubt anybody else would employ the man who killed off Top Gear.
Should he make the move, his career will be back on track again.

I actually have quite a lot of sympathy for OT. Whoever it was from the Beeb (and it seems it may well be Danny Cohen) who released his name etc regarding the incident, should be nailed to a post. bd. As it is, he is stuck at the BBC. I doubt anybody else would employ the man who killed off Top Gear.

The others are freelance where he is (probably) staff. Thats the difference. As it is, he is stuck at the BBC. I doubt anybody else would employ the man who killed off Top Gear.

I am really curious about the "superior hitting / slapping a subordinate" remark though. So by those rules this all applies only when it is? Two employees of equal rank can beat the hell out of each other?
Err, no. I didn't say that. But the whole context of this 300 pages is superior (JC) hitting a junior. Obviously anyone hitting anyone is (mostly) wrongdon4l said:

I really hope he does it will further endorse the feeling that the BBC is useless. As it is, he is stuck at the BBC. I doubt anybody else would employ the man who killed off Top Gear.
