Martin I like. As for Glenister, I couldn't get past the first episode of that recent car restoration series that he lazily appeared in. Kidd? Meh.

Exactly the above. Glenister "you know nothing Jon Snow" is fairly appropriate. Kidd definitely meh, that's being generous.

Hope it's just speculation otherwise BBC could be wasting more money not wanting to understand the audience. Martin excepted in all the above.

Interesting tweet from Mr C this evening. Looks like he's with a film crew, possibly at a track, which if so would be a track with a lot of open space and grass on the infield. Wonder where that is…...
They were all at Goodwood filming last week.

next you'll be telling up that travelling showmen aren;t itnierant becasue they have a site they go back to at the end of the season to do repair and refurbishment of their rides and sit out the worse of the winter ...
dont be an arrogant ahole.
and once again the 'powerfully built' prove that they can't even dispute a point without resorting to pure insults ...
You don't regard telling someone you don't know, "you really haven't got a clue have you" isn't insulting? Especially when you appear to know no more than he does.

It does appear from the majority of your posts that you are, indeed, an arrogant ahole. With something of a complex, IMO. Underachiever?

I don't think any of Jodie Kidd, Philip Glenister or Guy Martin would be very good choices for TG presenters.

I'm not sure why it's assumed that presenters should be people we've heard of before. Clarkson and May were magazine journalists and Hammond was a regional radio DJ before they were on TG. None of them had any real public profile.

I agree. I would vote for the PH moderators. They are all knowing.

Interestingly, Guy Martin put up something last night on FB saying something along the lines of "Funny what you read in the papers sometimes" relating to an article stating that the BBC are close to a deal with the aforementioned 3, which kind of suggests that he isn't involved

Is she even eye candy? Does nothing for me at all. She ain't no Linda Evangalista!

Very wooden and lacks something with the uber spiv Quinten (roll up roll up these cars are going mega up very soon go buy one!)

Perhaps she should stick to horses and being entrapped by gutter press!

Watched one of Glenisters things last night. Just came across as a relatively disinterested sarcastic person. Not good. His car restoring sidekick was a much better prospect.

Martin, top lad.

Kidd? Watched her for a short time with that ingratiating slimeball Wilson. Terrible, although she's clearly handy in a reasonable priced car though.

The biggest mistake would be to replace three presenters with three new presenters - the format needs a complete overhaul and replacement with something fresh.

Like axing and replace it with re-runs of Danger Mouse!

Yes, the point being they are filming something new, together i.e. a TG rival type thing.

That's a rehash of the article that was in the Australian Herald.

It said that Kidd had got the job and that Glenister and Martin had been 'approached'. Like lots of other names.

It also based some of the report on an overheard conversation involving Andy Wilman.

I've only just discovered that show with Jodie Kidd and Clocker Wilson. The studio bits are cringworthy, but I thought the outside bits were better than OK. That said, all the stuff was positive, they never slated anything --> commercial channel + potential advertisers = bland.

I wonder if the watches on display in the reviews were sponsor-supplied wink.
