reads well when you compare it to the article in the MOS Mag about James.

That all sounds rather good, and I wouldn't mind watching that. But won't, because my internet is st.

It'd be nice if the show wasn't aimed at the lowest common denominator, the 3 of them know a fair bit about cars and engineering between them, it'd be nice if this could be factual and entertaining.
According to the article linked to earlier, around James May and his perspective on all things TG and Amazon, commercial success accelerated when Andy and Jeremy took Top Gear to a new sales speed (ca 2002?) at which point it became more about three psychologically incompatible blokes arsing about (with cars as a backdrop). If the commercial success is seen in this light and remains imperative, it may well be that cars will only ever be a backdrop overall.

For anyone who's interested on getting Prime. If you can get your hands on a .ac.uk email address (student or teacher etc) you can get a 6 month free trial of Prime and then half price for 4 years (£39/yr)

Danny Cohen is quitting the BBC. Hate figure for some on this thread and just a few months after criticism of his role in the open letter to the BBC debacle. Not declared his next position, how about head of the EU stay in campaign after Rose has stuffed it up.

I still find it odd that it was slimy Alan Yentob who was the one to call Clarkson and tell him of his termination of contract and not the equalling slimy Cohen.

That I can do (as staff). But I've only been able to find details on "Amazon Student" indicating they may be asking for further proof of being a student, which I can't do. I've not found information relating to offers for academic staff.

For the sake of a few quid aren't you putting yourself in a position where you could get done for fraud?

Building cars live sounds pretty decent, but I've just clocked his co-hosts and suspect that its going to be set to maximum dumb down.

May just made a sweet lil joke about his new job on the One Show, the two sofa zombies chuckled robotically.

They tried to quiz him on the new show, but he was having none of it.

Someone will anyway. I've watched every episode of the current series of Wheeler Dealers on Youtube a day after broadcast.

Other TV sharing sites are available (and less likely to get pulled). wink
