Look, it may be a little out of date, but i was lead to believe that he is still on the payrol, but they can't find somewhere for him to work.

Look...yes I looked and according to a recent (this afternoon) online article at Thr Guardian "Tymon is working at the BBC and has been promoted to a new role as a development executive. He was previously an assistant producer on Top Gear" so as I said, he doesn't have to be "on" a particular prog to remain working at the BBC.

The potential legal action so let's say he swept it under the carpet in return for maybe higher involvement in certain things which I've no doubt JC could have used his influence.
