Actions of a desperate man still in denial that his son was a murdering b4stard?

Depression leading to murder suicide, not really the actions of a sane individual. Pretty difficult for anyone to come to terms with, especially his father. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-39379724
I expect most posters would be looking for other explanations if they were the pilots father also,
You would expect the father of a genocidal maniac to have, and show, a bit more tact and sympathy.

To commit suicide and make sure that 150 souls live their last few minutes in absolute terror takes a monster that I cannot possibly imagine.
We'll never know, but why did he not just deliberately put the aircraft in a steep dive, yet instead just sat there enjoying the desperate attempts of the Captain trying to smash the door down and the terrified screams of the passengers.
A of the highest order and his Dad is a too.
Accept it you feking wker

Isnt it just as simple as he programmed the plane to decend sharply into a mountain? Fairly obvious incapacitation wouldnt have caused that.
The rate of decent in it's own is not unusual or excessive, I recall at the time that it was stated that it was the norm for the aircraft. I can't find a rate of decent at the moment. The whole pattern of behavior indicates that the whole "passed out due to gas in the cockpit" put forward by the father and the person trying to sell books on the subject is incorrect.
The key for me is the override on the cockpit door - this is a specific action using a switch with protection from accidental activation and has to be timed to (as best as I understand it) seconds of the door open code being entered from outside. This indicates that this co-pilot was incapacitated. Had the co-pilot been incapacitated then the captain would have been able to entre the flight deck using the door code from the outside.

I can see where his son got his wker tendancy from!
This old fart should shut the fk up, show some shame for raising a mass murderer and show some contrition to the poor victims' families.
Stupid old .
The timing and publicity of his statement is terrible and frankly offensive to the victims. This old fart should shut the fk up, show some shame for raising a mass murderer and show some contrition to the poor victims' families.
Stupid old .
However, I can't imagine how screwed up I would be if one of my son's became infamous for mass murder.
I worry this "journalist" is looking to make a fast buck from this tragedy.
