Biased Guardian Headline:
'Nigel Farage opposes EU action to tackle migrant deaths in Mediterranean'

actual article:

'Farage said: “I’m happy to send the Royal Navy, I’m happy to stop people drowning in the Mediterranean. But it needs the cooperation of the Italian and Greek governments to say we cannot accept an unlimited number of people crossing over. If that message is not sent, many millions of people will come.”

Farage said he could not be “accused of being closed-minded” as he had been in favour of accepting some Christian refugees from Syria.

“But waves of millions of people coming from north Africa seeking a better life in Europe, if that links in on Thursday to a new common migration policy then whilst on one hand it may appear to be the decent thing to do, I think you’ll find overwhelmingly public opinion will say we simply can’t,” he said.'

I'm struggling to see what your point is.

Could you elucidate please?

Does the image offend, or upset you? If so, why?

Do you find the text offensive?

I expect better from my candidates than mocking the deaths of hundreds. From the responses so far Kippers are obviously fine with it.

Colour me surprised.

eta this is what I find so funny about this thread.
1. UKIP member/candidate/MEP/etc. says or does something stupid.
2. Kippers defend them.
3. UKIP either expel the person or as a minimum they come out and apologise for their error (as Peter Endean has "I retweeted it by accident. It was not intentional and clearly a mistake. I apologise unreservedly.’)
4. Kippers continue to defend them and probably throw in a strawman for good measure.

you shouldn't use big (inappropriate) words without knowing the meaning

trifecta

noun
NORTH AMERICANAUSTRALIAN/NZ

a bet in which the person betting forecasts the first three finishers in a race in the correct order.

I know what a trifecta is and that's why I used it.

Well done for looking it up though. It's good to learn new things.

Why are you surprised?

Your posts are so vague that we haven't a clue what you are talking about.

If you are talking about my response to your previous post, then ask yourself a simple question.

What was in your post that indicated that people had died?

Did you assume that the whole world was familiar with your photograph?

I've never seen that photo before.

Moral superiority is a fantastic thing. It provided support for the brave crusaders in the 11th an 13th centuries. It also provided great moral support to the Spanish Inquisitors.

If I were you, I would give myself a big pat on the back.

You know that you deserve it.

You want to know why I'm entirely unsurprised that Kippers have leaped to the defence of a UKIP member saying something that balanced and rational people find distasteful?

Tell us about these 'balanced and rational people'?
Who are they are and what are their views?
Oh, and you know this how?
