Well, I wasn't wrong, was I?
As I predicted, Davis couldn't even pretend that he was impartial.
About 10 minutes in, he said "This isn't about policy, it is about tone".
Evan, you thick ignorant gobste, policy actually matters more than tone. What people do is more important than what they say.
Is he interviewing Sturgeon next week? It will be interesting to compare and contrast.
I wonder if I am the only person who hasn't watched Newsnight since Paxman left?
news night and QT have been renamed bash a right wing politician. As I predicted, Davis couldn't even pretend that he was impartial.

You know what? I don't think it is. At least, I don't think it is to the vast majority of the population because, frankly, they are too bloody thick to understand the policy. I strongly suspect this is why Miliband has that God-awful tone about him: he's been coached that that's the way to sound caring and compassionate, and as if he cares about hard working families. And those on benefits.
In the interests of impartiality, Cameron does it too, to a lesser extent, and Farage does as well: it's why people like him as a bloke who's "like me/down the pub/down to earth".
There is some genuine psychological study stuff that breaks down how much of a message is conveyed by tone, hoe much by visual cues and how much by content. The content aspect is alarmingly small, and the tone aspect is alarmingly high.

I am lucky enough to have had a chat with NF and he is exactly that. Down to earth, genuinely happy rubbery smiley face with beer in hand, but, really really genuine.
That interview was not an interview, it was the last chance the establishment had to try and discredit Farage before GE.
Disgraceful BBC. No more money from me, ever.
The only thing Davies didnt do is hit him with his cards across the face. That interview was not an interview, it was the last chance the establishment had to try and discredit Farage before GE.

What a pompus little over educated tt.Exactly the sort of tt that NF is fighting againsat.Their cosy little relationship is under threat.

Have you got a link to this genuine psychology stuff Greg?
I vote for UKIP based on policies, not Farage's' tone'.
Think the point here Steve, is that you're far from a typical mong voter...I vote for UKIP based on policies, not Farage's' tone'.
Sorry Greg, your post made perfect sense. I was just being confrontational; bit frustrated after that interview.
I felt sorry for Nigel, it was like he was being picked on and didn't get a chance to say what he stands for.
He was just defending little bits of nonesense dug up!
It was like playground stuff, you said this and you said that!
What a load of tosh.
I'm voting ukip, think he represents the hard working families who are annoyed with newbies (immigrants) and the fat cats at the top.

I notice that none of the usual suspects are defending Evan's performance.
I wonder why?
I also wonder why we should have to pay a license fee to watch commercial television?
And there's me wondering why another group of usual suspects aren't all over the latest grooming gang thread. But I guess it's just down to the fact that people are not obliged to post on anything if they don't feel like it.I wonder why?

+1I vote for UKIP based on policies, not Farage's' tone'.
And I'm not the sharpest tool, but I know what Greg is talking about. They all do it. Miliband's brand is the worst, but to say all the laughing when answering questions, and stern nodding and hands when trying to talk with conviction isn't a show is just naive. Nothing wrong with any of em doing it, you just pick the one that sucks you in, and a pint of locally brewed ale works a treat to some.
And the tone from Nigel is a very negative one. Even I pondered 100's of millions of immigrants all trying to steal my job!
A senior figure from one of the world’s most powerful think tanks will today warn that “Britain’s future as a great nation must lie outside of the European Union”.

I don't understand this, do you want a media actor to run the country, maybe someone from EastEnders would do the best job. They might have a great tone and be appealing on the eye, whether they can count or not is irrelevant I suppose?
