Have you got a link to this genuine psychology stuff Greg?
I vote for UKIP based on policies, not Farage's' tone'.
Think the point here Steve, is that you're far from a typical mong voter...I vote for UKIP based on policies, not Farage's' tone'.
Sorry Greg, your post made perfect sense. I was just being confrontational; bit frustrated after that interview.

And the tone
I don't understand this, do you want a media actor to run the country, maybe someone from EastEnders would do the best job. They might have a great tone and be appealing on the eye, whether they can count or not is irrelevant I suppose?steveT350C said:

AMOUNT OF TIME SPEAKING:
Evan Davis - 63%
Nigel FARAGE - 37%
@EvanHD shouldn't you have let @Nigel_Farage talk?
He couldn't, could he?AMOUNT OF TIME SPEAKING:

He is left wing, gay, and a guardian reader. What did you expect?
Next week, he will be fawning over Nicola Sturgeon.
If he was a professional, like Paxman, then he would make a small attempt to hide his political convictions.
If the BBC tried to be impartial, then they wouldn't let lefties like Davis on the air.

You're thinking of the tone of his voice. Maybe I should have (and the interviewer) called it undertone to keep it simple
I fail to see how stating facts has anything to do with tone? His undertones are scaremongery and negativity. I can't bloody bear it.

Farage on BBC1 for half hour interview starting 19:30, i.e. 16 mins
I notice that they have chosen Evan Davies to interview him. What blithering idiot decided this?
Davies is not going to be able to hide his hostility, and the result will be an increase in public support.
If they had chosen Dimbleby, then he would have made a small effort to appear impartial. I predict that Davies will be unable to hide his hostility.
BBC... Impartial?

I simply cannot understand our media's obsession with this poisonous little woman.
She's the Nick Clegg of this election's TV coverage. Someone who presents well and exceeds expectations. She reminds me of Ken Livingstone and Tony Benn. Ostensibly reasonable and beguiling in tone, but absolutely off the charts mental in content.
Prepare to be shocked here
I don't like Nige, I've made that pretty clear, but I warmed to him over that interview a little. Not because I thought Davies was out of order - he raised points that needed raising - but because Nige did his best to answer and kept smiling. Fair play to him there. I still don't want him anywhere near government, but on a personal level I wish him well

As putrid as I find Farage and his caustic rhetoric, that Evan Davis interview on Newsnight was dreadful. He didn't give Farage a chance to respond and talked over him the whole time. Pathetic.
One man's caustic rhetoric is another's blatant undeniable common sense truth that has been suppressed from discussion by ideological bigots calling it dangerous, divisive, caustic etc. Gassing Station | News, Politics & Economics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
