Prove the unprovable .... The Lord moves in Mysterious ways...
More seriously.
It's not pure coincidence a massive Volcano has erupted in southern Chile. The Lord is displeased ... mysterious ways indeed.

For those inclined to vote UKIP thinking why bother because they're in a safe seat, remember there is some point because the number of votes cast affects the amount of short money that a party in opposition receives (yes we already publicly fund political parties not insignificantly).

I think UKIP are doing a great job shining a light on subjects the others just will not go to.
I do agree with this in part and I believe it's good to have people taking the government to task over certain issues.I fundamentally disagree with them on the EU however I do believe we have a problem with the numbers and arguably the type of people arriving here and the impact it has on jobs/housing/infrastructure. However it isn't the number one issue we should be addressing (deficit, anyone?) and UKIP have made immigration such a prominent point that the others are getting shouted down.
The way UKIP says things or perhaps the way their supporters chant them is also a problem. UKIP has many thick racist members/supporters, nobody can reasonably deny this. Nobody is saying they are all racist or that their policies are racist. However the divisiveness it creates makes any logical debate virtually impossible.
My final worry is them splitting the vote and allowing the Eds into Nos 10&11.

for me, it may not be new but it's ground others seem either to trivialise, blatantly ignore, or plain old lie about.
I honestly don't give a stuff about Gay marriage, Breastfeeding in public, etc etc. they are so far from being important issues to the UK it;s just not funny.
what is important is:
1) the debt/deficit - they all go on about it, but nobody had any real plan to attack it, I want to see a plan to eradicate the DEBT, not just the deficit.
2) NHS - nobody will bite the bullet and admit it's simply out of control, all they do is this and that reorganisation, much like rearranging the deckchairs on the titanic.
3) Immigration - it's not a race issue, it's one of simple numbers and economics.
4) Education - it's screwed, we are churning out school leavers that can't even do basic maths, we have graduates with less nouse than a street urchin from India.
5) infrastructure - once again, nothing remotely long term, all bodge it and screw it stuff.
6) energy - totally fubared to the religion of climate change, we have not really done anything proper since the 70/80's.
now, for me, only UKIP seem to actually bring this stuff up and understand the issues, I'm not saying I think they have all the answers, but at least they are identifying the issues and putting up real polices to address them.
the others are all playing the political game of bribing the electorate with their own money.
NHS is a prime example, Oh yes, we will fund the £Xb, (from where??).
all the rest of it, the stupid twater posts, stty sound-bites, the point-scoring TV interviews, etc etc is just bks.
I was never a fan of Thatcher, but can you imagine her putting up with this st?
same for Churchill, or Gladstone, to them, the job in hand was the priority, not pandering to some focus/minority group.
(and breath!)
