the comments about lots of senior people being interested in ukip may be correct after all ,seeing as this is yet another repost of a very recent comment.

Indeed and the fact that anyone who takes the view of a well known raving nutjob locked up in "Broadmoor" for decades, an asylum for the criminally insane shows how low some newspapers have sunk!

Whats next a full page in a paper on the political musing of David Icke, oh hang on they cover old Russel extensively so I guess any old ramblings from any source count as political commentary these days!
Gary Glitter was a prominent Labour supporter and benefactor. What does this tell us???

No surprise there.

Which party supported PIE in the 70's?

I struggle to understand the mentality of someone who thinks that it is acceptable to issue death threats on the basis of political beliefs.

Would it be acceptable to issue death threats on the basis of skin colour? Or sexuality?

Surely, all death threats are wrong, and should be condemned?
Obviously all death threats are wrong and should be condemned. I'm surprised that, if he took them so seriously, he doesn't seem to have reported them to the Police?

And the supposed reason for the death threats....

One of the posts allegedly written by Mr Harris said; “Why cant [sic] I say in my own country bloody black is still a colour and gay [sic] are still queers.”
And yet in the same article you lifted that from it was claimed the posts were fake?
yep. It even says "allegedly" in the bit I lifted. Has he denied it?

Have you got a source for that?

I typed "Gary Glitter Labour Supporter" into Google and can't find anything substantial.

Yes he has. Speaking to The Independent’s Andy McSmith, Harris said:

I wouldn’t say anything about gay people because I have a gay son. I’ve got lots of Asian friends. I never said any of this.
Funny, it only took me a couple of seconds to find the above quote. If you were genuinely interested in the truth, you would have found it yourself.

Yeah, that's all I could find, apart from lots of unattributed posts on BNP-affiliated sites.

Anyone tell me why a labour government would benefit ukip? I can't understand why ukip and their supporters would want labour in charge to fk things up to one day benefit ukips agenda. Or is that the whole point?

Fair enough and you're correct. I wasnt that bothered as it seems to happen an awful lot (UKIP candidate accused of saying XYZ, media reports UKIP candidate of saying XYZ, Candidate denies it). Gets a bit repetitive after a while.

Going back to the original point - he hasn't reported the death threats to the Police and he's refusing to make any further comment on the matter. I rather wish he would as i think it's quite distasteful.

I agree the polls are volatile, hence the question mark. It is Ashcroft's analysis that is Farage's nightmare. Whether it is true we will see in just over a week's time

However I think it is touching the faith people have in bookies odds

They do just reflect how much money people put on each option, not any in-depth analysis

Though if you think they are the best guide you may care to note that the best odds on the Tories are 6/4 and UKIP evens. Which suggests the Tories are ahead in South Thanet

Personally I think that is irrelevant though
That suggests Farage has a greater chance of winning, 1/1 is evens and 6/4 is above evens - greater return for a greater risk.
JALI has failed miserably to understand the odds. If what he writes is correct, which it isn't, Tories 6/4 and UKIP Evens, then it would be possible to back both and show a profit whoever wins of the two. Only one other party such a Labour winning would ( unlikely ) torpedo that.

if that is your understanding of how the betting odds work it makes some of your other posts on this thread a bit easier to understand wink

for me just one seat is a 100% improvement ,the share of the vote is more important. 15% plus required to give them something to build on for 2020 imo.
And who would you like to see running the country for the next 5 years?
Nigel as Deputy PM would be excellent!
Dave and Nige would be my dream team. thumbup

With the passing of a little more time, I'd bet a few quid both will realise that if they don't already but, dare not say in this media and social network infested tight-lipped, tippy-toe run-up to the GE.... and the next.

Nb. Without that eventually we have no chance. Thus we're still doomed.

Has Farage really got nothing better to do that run whining to the police whenever someone mentions his name during a satirical show?
maybe if it was ITV but the BBC seems hell bent on disrupting the UKIP campaign.
I'm old enough to remember seeing those highly over-rewarded "we're ever so clever" luvvies at the BBC get masses of egg all over their collective chops at previous GEs. Spectacular fail! hehe

Bring it on again GE 2015. thumbup That's one BBC repeat I'd pay good money to see ..

Youz cudnee mek eet oop ... smile

.... and another thing. Their incessant overkill coverage of the poisonous little woman from Norf-ov-da-budda, who is NOT even standing, I find an indicator of their true stance on so many aspects of this GE.

Even the name's fishy ... smile Get her off ma set toot-sweet .. Jammy.
