Farage warns of 'election shock' in Aylesbury

Farage said:
...this campaign has already over 10,000 pledges and is building rapidly by the day.
I'm assuming that that is 10,000 who have confirmed that they'll definitely vote UKIP. I have no idea what a typical number of pledges is, but the result from 2010 puts 10,000 into perspective...

Party ------------ Candidate ------- Votes -- % ---- ±%
Conservative ----- David Lidington -- 27,736 - 52.2 - +3.1
Liberal Democrat - Steven Lambert -- 15,118 - 28.4 - +0.8
Labour ----------- Kathryn White --- 6,695 -- 12.6 - -5.9
UKIP ------------- Chris Adams ----- 3,613 -- 6.8 -- +2.0

Steve350, the NHS has asked if you could stop posting stuff like that. They can't tell whether their patients are bulimic, have the Norovirus or have just been reading your posts

When someone goes against the grain, they could indeed be brave, insightful, visionary leaders.

More often they are like David Icke

Others turn out to be more like Mao, Pol Pot or Kim Jong Un

So just because someone isn't following the masses, it doesn't make them right

Something I wondered last night that I am curious about.
Fundamentally UKIP support is an inti-immigration/Europe support and could be a cheap vote winner for the other parties to jump on that band wagon.

Why do you think all the major parties are so Pro Europe?
I don't know enough to have a massive opinion either way, but I am definitely mindful that all the major parties employ economists etc that are far more intelligent than me, and research the issues to infinite detail and as a result are all very pro Europe.
Why is this and what does Farage know that they don't? Or vice versa, what is Farage ignoring to push his agenda?
i think the kinnocks current bank balance may give you a clue .

'I phoned Dad to find out why he was voting UKIP. He told me it was because the Tories were a "bunch of posh-boy tosspot wkers" who'd never had real jobs in their lives, and that he'd never trust Labour after the colostomy bag number they did on Iraq. When I pointed out he could still vote Lib Dem he laughed mirthlessly. '

If they hire more translators they should be able to find out what's wrong.

For those of you who missed last night's "Ask Nigel Farage", here is a link.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFCfEdxd4Sc

Enjoy!

Nigel gave a good performance. I must admit that Jo Coburn did a much better job of hiding her prejudices then Evan Davis did a couple of weeks ago.

"When UKIP won the crucial Heywood by election"?

They lost by around 600-630 votes, confused

The rest of the article is of a similar vein, preconceptions and generalisations.
