And yet you're here. That strikes me as a little odd.
Because I'm talking to you, if you were brave enough to appear over there we'd be talking there. It might be disconcerting to encounter civility, by there you go.We've had our run ins over the years, the majority back when you could have a robust debate and remain friendly while disagreeing completely with each other's viewpoint. Sadly that's rarely possible these days as posters seem to run in and lob insults.
There's a hardcore of posters who regularly derail an otherwise interesting topic, JALI/Dirk is one in particular hence me calling him out.
I want to know what UKIP are up to as I passionately believe we should have a referendum to put the EU question to bed once and for all *whichever* way it goes . It would be great to be able to hold an adult discussion about it on PH again but I can't see it happening any time soon...

Will Don41 reprimand him for such a homophobic statement?
Perhaps because I have joined more recently than everyone else my memory is fresher about the site rules, but I would have thought drivetrain that you should be more concerned about what the moderators think than don41. After all you seem to have broken the first the 2nd rule (offensive and sexist) and possibly the first (amateur sleuthing). I am not sure of what constitutes "amateur sleuthing" but from the context of the rest of the rule it would appear that posting information gleaned from other websites about a poster on here might well do so.Will Don41 reprimand him for such a homophobic statement?

Shall we examine which of us has insulted each other the most? You might be surprised to learn I've never insulted you personally once on PH despite you lobbing quite a few my way... Go back, have a look if you don't believe me. (Actually don't, it would be a boring and fruitless search and you probably have better things to do).

I wasn't aware if insulted you but apologise if I have. I'm also interested in this issue as are many other posters here including those you deride, though they disagree with the viewpoints on here. Like most threads here when any contrary opinions are viewed they are met with hostility and aggression. Nonetheless they are entitled to their opinion and don't derail the argument they just don't agree with it. Sadly it can't be a UKIP love in.We've had our run ins over the years, the majority back when you could have a robust debate and remain friendly while disagreeing completely with each other's viewpoint. It's not orchestrated trolling. I've been on here longer than 98% of posters, yet I can still spot a moron on either site.
So, the sole CTF mod has arrived to support his cohorts. Pathetic.
So, now that you've told us as an ex-'kipper how disappointed you are with UKIP, where will you be looking now to place your political support?

Nobody should be allowed to spread hatred or bile. If you can give me a single example of a UKIP member spreading either hatred or bile, then I will cancel my membership.
Unlike the other parties, UKIP immediately expels anyone who displays the slightest signs of bigotry.
Is this a joke? Unlike the other parties, UKIP immediately expels anyone who displays the slightest signs of bigotry.
Try googling UKIP racist comments and you'll come up with a few thousand pages and numerous examples of candidates being caught making disgustingly bigoted comments.
This summarises the connections between UKIP and certain organisations filled with hateful bigots.
"Tory racist comments" gets 15,400,000 hits.
You don't do much research before you click the "submit" button, do you?

I don't think dear old Don really understands how unrelated keyword searches work with Google, and is setting store purely by the number of hits he gets.
Rather akin to Don deciding to judge the quality of a piano concerto simply by how loud it is, and demonstrating the theory by frantically mashing as many of the piano keys he can in random order, with both hands, his head, and where possible, his feet - although some may say Andrew W.K. has already defined that genre.

So Nige thinks that taking on debts you cannot repay is a good thing! I used to call him a buffoon. Then he became more serious through the Euro elections and I stopped calling him that. Since the GE, it seems that either he's been doing a very good impression of a buffoon or I was wrong and he was one all along.'Greece referendum: Ukip's Nigel Farage praises Greeks for calling bluff of 'dying' EU project'

For myself, I have suspected for some time that whichever way Greece had voted, the EU would come up with a fudge that somehow kept Greece in the Euro. They simply cannot afford to have a country leave the Euro. It's an article of faith for too many politicians and Eurocrats.
