I'm still disappointed he's stayed as leader, but Farages performance in the EU Parliament yesterday was impressive:

UKIP has been ahead of the curve on issues like this for years but have failed to capitalise on it, the problems with the Eurozone and different cultures and economies within has been a UKIP issue long before the current crisis. Same with current EU migration issues, Syria, Jihadis, housing and energy costs. For a one issue party they/Farage seem to be doing well to identify future problems before other parties will get involved.

The way the EU are dealing with Greece must be helping the out of EU cause and UKIP.
That speech was surprisingly well received.

Anyone else amused by the Green-Kipper alliance re more seats in the house of lords?

I didn't think they could agree on anything!
I think it's a fair argument. Both have been polling consistently higher than the Lords reflect.

Wait and see. I expect a typical EU fudge. They can't afford to let a country leave the Euro.
Some very powerful German people have been doing their best to get them to do exactly that.

No, it it a sensible policy designed to avoid infection from those nasty lefty ideas.
The same Independent that endorsed the last coalition Government? I find it quite a balanced publication these days, more liberal than lefty - can see why that might not appeal to a Kipper though

£60k to C&P "it's immigrants what is the problem"

So much for Farage saying on QT that they wouldn't accept any short money. Not like him to do a u-turn.

Or wait, how about your amazing research that was done when you accused me of lying about my salary despite it being a matter of public record, as an NHS employee?
Not to worry, you will soon be too busy working over the weekend to bother about UKIP-The Future.

I very much doubt it. I suspect Hunt may not be in a job for too long.

Anyway UKIP vote is imploding if recent local elections are a guide.

UKIP aren't making too many noises in the press at the moment, whether they are keeping their powder dry or have run out of gunpowder I'm not sure yet, but this tweet from Suzanne Evans amused me. Following the nonsense about gay pride banning UKIP LGBT as the wrong type of gays, more evidence of a party that has potential to surprise:

Have you heard Winston McKenzie speak? I don't think UKIP have anything to be proud of, fielding candidate like him.

Suzanne Evans is one of UKIP's quiet stars. I believe she is standing too. if I lived in the voting catchment area, would vote for her. Always impressive during interviews and a couple of appearances on QT.

McKenzie is one of the eligible members who've put their name forward for selection. He isn't a UKIP candidate as of yet, although he's stood for them before. I'm not particularly impressed by him but that misses the point Suzanne Evans was making.

UKIP hasn't got a positive selection process - AFAIK - but they still seem to be able to attract a significant number of females, openly gay and ethnic minority members and candidates. Whilst bigots from outside the party accuse them of being sexist, homophobic and racist.

She's pretty good. Has been a few times that quite wrong things have dropped out her mouth though, and I'm not sure she's not somewhat of a liability when it comes to party cohesion.

Relax - no need to be frightened. Osborne will be the next PM: Boris knows that, and will be happy with a senior cabinet role.
